I'm so happy that this video exists. I'm a fan boy and I'm glad they show love to fanboys and treat them exactly the same as fan girls. Fans are fans no matter what gender at the end of the day. I'm excited to see Got 7 at their meet and greet in January!! Can't wait to see my boys❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am also a fanboy and we need more recognition. I love stanning male and female idols but sometimes it just so awkward around the male idols. Maybe because we are the same gender and all but we need the same love as the fangirls too.
I want this to happen to me when I go to my first Kpop concert ( I'm a fanboy ). Seeing this made me feel great about being a fanboy because I usually don't because it feels/looks like all the attention goes to the girls ( even with the female idols ) .
Tequan Carter I mean, there are groups that love their fanboys to death but others (I think) don't really care about it because they are happy with or without fanboys. I've seen some groups like TVXQ, JYJ, and Infinite and they were adorable with everyone, boys and girls. I don't know which group you stan but you will enjoy and have a good time if you go to a concert, like, just go and have fun.
I love how they don't care about gender most boy bands wouldn't hug a male fan or play with his hair an stuff like that they'd most like just give them a handshake or highfive
I think it's because most boy bands only (or mostly) have girl fans. If there are boy fans they probably won't admit they like the band (how many straight men admit they like One Direction?) and if they do like them, they'll probably act as "BRO" as possible when meeting them to avoid looking gay. For some reason, a lot of guys feel less ashamed of liking Kpop, which is pretty cool.
Ofc they would, they're on live television, if they were seen to be mean to fanboys or fangirls they would get so much backlash. We dont really know how they feel. 🙄
This is so heartwarming and adorable! More idols need to act like this because they don't just have fan girls , they also have a lot of fan boys which I find is super sweet. Fan boys don't get hurt when idols interact with females but some fan girls do... I'm saying this for all of us fan girls out there we need to be more like the fan boys and look up to our idols and let them do what they want and don't get butt hurt so easily. 💯😁

This actually brought tears to my eyes omg. It doesn't matter if the idol is male or female or if the fan is male or female, all the kpop idols are so kind to their fans. From whatever I've seen so far they seem way more willing to spend a minute talking to a fan, to genuinely hug them and get to know them a tiny bit. Fan events are largely such intimate events rather than just a quick group shot. How lovely, really.
I'm (sorry, but extra) happy when male idols acknowledge and treat their male fans well and equally. That's how it should be. It's always so cute to see someone (regardless of gender) being so happy when meeting their idol :)
Whenever I attend a KPop event, I really love seeing fanboys, straight or not. I also love it when I hear them scream and do fanchants. I am so happy that KPop idols do not discriminate in terms of gender and just loves us all fans one and the same.

Seungri and Jackson are masters of fan interaction!. A truly successful idol knows to embrace all fans, boy or girl. At the end of the day, a fan is a someone who supports you and gets you to where you are now ;]

I think it's because he had a split second where he's like "wut, ....we have male fans" and didn't know how to react at first. With the amount of girls that pass through those lines, seeing a boy can be surprising
see no one's getting angry at idols for hugging their fanboys! imagine if a girl was treated like that by an idol! everyone would go ballistic on her for touching their "oppas" and would throw death threats.. or everyone would criticize them for being inappropriate ...

I think they are more comfortable with fanboys. Remember that kyuhyun finally found sungmin duplicate, a fanboy with face, squishy chubby body, and voice like sungmin. He got special treatment from kyuhyun. Lol
I'm not even a fanboy but I cried watching this. Even if people at school find me weird because I have different preferences, it's at times like this that I truly forget everything and focus only on how happy kpop makes me feel. I love this video.

As a fanboy and from the US I feel so happy that these guys get to meet their idols I would love to be able just to shake hands if I could hug them I would be shaking and everything else haha XD I love this video so much! 😊👏
I'm just really thankful, even if theyre doing it for their jobs, that they don't push away these fanboys. I believe the strongest men are the men that can touch a man without feeling that theyre masculinity is being threatened. They arent immaculated by man to man affection. And I'm glad that these idols are challenging that notion.

Being a fanboy sure is hard... We're just the same as you fangirls but when we stan male idols it's werid heck even sometimes when we stan girl groups it's somehow creepy? I just hope we get more acknowledgment...
