I love both. The eyeshadow is what makes the difference for me. I personally like to go without eyeshadow and just have simple eyeliner, but smoky eyeshadow makes me want to try it out even though im not good at it at all! I have a hooded eyelid anyway.
As a person born with freckles, I stopped using foundation do to it weighing my face down. It clogged my pores. I use lip gloss, eyeshadow, and mascara only when I feel like it. However I use my makeup for my Halloween Costumes. I have better control over the brown brow pencil and coverage.
W brother, I used to only wear concealer when I was younger but stopping wearing makeup was the best choice for me. For my wallet, my pores, and my time. I used to run late to everything and I'm not a morning person. So I was not about to wake up hours before school/ or work to do hair and makeup lol I was self-conscious as heck about it at first but it calmed my skin down and made me appreciate it more. It also helped me realize my acne was stress-related. So if I start to break out I give myself a spa/ self-care day. Guys usually like no makeup which is why typically they prefer none or the 'boy-pretty' side because it looks like she isn't wearing much.
I was about to say that the boy one is more pretty but the I realized that’s what TikTok and instagram made us believe and now that I think about it the girl pretty is better!!😂❤
As a bi/or lesbian (I’m not sure) I think the „boy pretty“ side is objectively prettier, but I’m more attracted to the „girl pretty“ side if that makes sense😅
@@SeveralSquirrels-rh7ss The point is that it looks MORE natural compared to the right side. Clearly, it isn't fully natural. That would be no makeup at all. That's why I said it LOOKS natural not it IS natural.
@deadsetondreams1988 jeez you don't have to get mad, I was sharing an opinion just like you were. I've just seen _lots_ of people bash regular makeup in favour of "natural" makeup. Also it maybe just doesn't look as natural to me as it does you. Sorry if you're mad at me for whatever reason.
I find it interesting how everyone says the ‘boy pretty’ side looks more natural, and yet she put on a fair amount of foundation and full coverage concealer. On the other hand on the ‘girl pretty’ side she only dabbed a bit of bb cream and used sheer concealer (which is far more lightweight and transparent than full coverage). Despite this, people recognise the former to be mor natural, when it is not. So I think appealing to the male gaze involves making your face look naturally pretty, so that people might think that you have less makeup on while you might have more. I feel like the ‘girl pretty’ is more honest (obviously I am biased as a woman) as there is less makeup but you can clearly tell that she is wearing it. At the end of the day, both sides look gorgeous, and looking gorgeous is a win for the world.
