Hello everyone! Today we are giving Malibu Christie the love she deserves. I have wanted this doll for the longest time and I eventually caved and bought her used. But I love her just as much and it feels good to show a doll a little TLC. Let me know how you curl your doll's hair below! 💖

She is so cute with the new hairstyle. That style goes so well with her face sculpt. When I saw how she was packed it reminded me of the time I got a Midge doll I ordered from ebay in a spaghetti box with my address tapped to the falling apart box.

Congratulations! She is great! Glad to see you and your dolls again! Yesterday I received a Christie Perfume doll from 1987 and a rare "Tropical" Barbie from 1986. Hispanic.

Thank you so much! Yes, I am into them. I am getting the bigger ticket items now so my collecting has slowed down a lot. I am sewing a lot more though. At the moment just stuff for myself. Oh! I love the perfume dolls, that whole collection is so pretty! I love the tropical line too! That's the one with the long reddish hair right? I have Miko but have come close to getting the hispanic and black dolls too. 💕💖💕💖💕

This just popped up as soon as I opened the RU-vid app on my large TV screen tonight, so I had to watch it there! I LOVE how her hair came out!!! She's beautiful!!! (I gotta steal her now! 😜) Her hair actually reminds me more of the Quick Curl dolls in the Mattel booklets (that have longer, thicker, better curled hair than the dolls that were actually produced,) so I'm christening her as 'Quick Curl Christie!' LOL That is the perfect dress for her and the red ribbons in her hair really make that hairstyle!!! You have to bring her over ASAP!!! And I loved the cameo appearance of my FM Cara, even though you said you didn't like her much. 😪

I am sorry if I didn't I forgot it was even in the video (this was put together a few months ago 😬) LOL, I think the black dolls always look good with the Steffie sculpt, it's just that I prefer the Christie sculpt personally 💖

i cannot believe that packaging!! That seller doesn’t even deserve one star. How inconsiderate. It’s a good thing she arrived unharmed, but that could have gone so badly. Her hair turned out beautifully! i love how it frames her face. i think i will do this to my Malibu Christie doll.

we're opposite: i love the stephie face, or as i call her, P.J. face (because PJ was the first girl i saw with the face). Great job on the hair-stylin'. Beautiful Doll. BTW, not all Americans are stupid...glad to see that she got there safe. I get stuff from people in America that has better packaging. The other day i ordered a tiny 4" figure that came in a huge 8"x8"x8" cube box...too much packaging imo.

I have tried to convince myself that I like the Steffie sculpt but I just can't 😂🤷🏼‍♂️ I am glad you and many others love her though 😊 Thank you so much! 💖 LOL! I know that! I do find it annoying though as many US sellers say us Aussies are bad customers and then I get something packaged like this 😂 Good and bad everywhere when it comes down to it.

I'm not exactly sure. I know Malibu dolls came out in 1971 but I think Chrisite came out a little later. Maybe '72 or '73? I think she would make a perfect GF for Joe! 😊
