At the end, B-Rad stopped trying to *appropriate* Hip-Hop & Black culture in America, and started actually *embracing* it. He stopped tryna be a caricature of what he thought hip-hop was and just was himself, a White boy, who just so happened to also be into hip-hop. That's why his music turned around at the end (during the credits).

@Why The Hell Was I In Star Trek 6? Are you saying we’re taking Asian culture because of the popularity of anime/manga within the Black community? @Why The Hell Was I In Star Trek 6? The Last Dragon isn't Black people appropriating Asian culture? @famousthaneus9810

@Why The Hell Was I In Star Trek 6? I don’t think you truly understand the nuances in the argument. Is there slight appropriation in our love anime? Sure, that can be argued, but we’ve largely expressed a love & reverence for it. Same with the main character in The Last Dragon in terms of martial arts. The argument *against* cultural appropriation isn’t saying you can’t enjoy or participate in someone else’s culture, it’s about shaming such involvement merely for your own gain/exploitation/mockery (being a culture vulture). I sense a politically charged anger in your trolling, and if that’s the case then you’re probably not gunna be open to what I’m saying regardless, but hopefully you’ll look further into the actual arguments against cultural appropriation and not just at headlines or buzzwords on FB/Twitter

I get what you are saying, I myself grew up as one of those black people who was questioned why do you "act white". But I think the difference between those two things, in terms of the movie. Is the fact that with Diggs' character in doing "white things" he is essentially trying to elevate himself in society and become more prosperous from his acting career. and the movie shows the struggle of being black and not "acting black". But when it comes to Kennedy's character it's not that someone like him can't exist, it's shown in the movie that he learned of these things from an early age from his maid because of his parents lack of parenting, which is believable. But the character comes from wealth and status, picks the good parts to take of the struggling culture, and experiences no Real or lasting struggle by the end of the movie. And on top of all that the movie only rewards him for it by the end. It fumbles the satire it was trying to present in the first place.

Of course not. That’s all the 2000’s was. Now, instead of appropriating black culture, white people just speak on behalf of black people and “stand up to” white appropriators in an effort to gain some kind of acceptance or pat on the back from black people, because they didn’t grow up around enough to feel comfortable around them in the first place. I kinda miss when it was so simple.

I was watching this stream on Twitch and how Corey treated Martin was really bad. It was almost in line with work place abuse. Anyone with a bit of braincell would immediately know what was happening. Corey was looking like a abusive husband yelling and cursing but forcefully asking Martin if he was disrespectful and Martin looked like a abused wife going along with Corey's abuse. It was bad. I know this channel tends to delete comments which are not agreeable so they are probably gonna delete this one too but Corey Coleman should be held accountable for his behaviour towards Martin.
