Maliniji is my favorite among female singers of the Hindustani classical genre. Whatever she sings, she gives her very best. That she did not get her due recognition is a sad comment not on her talent, but on our inability to recognize a diamond when we see one. God bless her!

Beautiful. I think it was Gods will that she was protected from too much fame and fortune. People should not feel bad for her.Those who love her are devoted to her.
I must add here that nowadays most artistes are making it like circus..only showing their vocal skills...so much so that the soul of the bandish or raga is lost ..
I feel malinitai isbabnaster teacher of classical music...she sings as if she is teaching one of her talented students.and showing all facets of that raag!
