I love watching these videos. I don’t live in Illinois anymore but I love watching these videos for nostalgia. This mall and Joliet mall were my childhood malls.
I don't live in Tinley Park anymore, so I definitely appreciate seeing these videos of places that I used to visit frequently when I was younger. I remember when there used to be a WB, Suncoast, and a Wizard's of the Coast store, among others. Thank you for your videos.
Ever since Lincoln Mall shut down, this mall is just not the same anymore. It feels so unsafe to shop here, definitely after the shooting a few years ago. I only go early mornings like opening time, I avoid weekends because it gets SO crowded and it REEKS of weed at times. People also prefer to shop online which probably has a hand in why a good amount of stores closed and are being replaced by weird stores with super cheap/trashy material and selfie places lol. I used to hang out here during junior high/high school, parents would drop me off. Now, I don't think I would ever let my little sister (who is in high school) come here without a guardian! It can be because times are changing, but this mall used to hold a standard for MANY years... now it doesn't and it is so sad to witness.
I hate to say it man but unfortunately, the AMC Theater is not happening. AMC backed out of the plans over the summer *RU-vid wouldn’t let me comment for some reason when this video came out. (Probably Bc I included a link to the article and it flagged it as spam so that sucks) but hopefully it stays up this time since it has information about the former Sears anchor.
Request: can you do HIghland Park on your downtown series? When I was a child we made a few visits to some relatives who lived there, and from what I can remember it seemed like a really nice town.
