When they found the truth from what they claim to believe in, then they will tell you, you cannot understand. How come you that have come to understand what you claim others cannot understand until they become what you have already become, cannot explain it if truly what you claim is true. It's like a teacher telling the students that they cannot understand a topic until they themselves have become a teacher. How can they become teachers if you cannot make them understand what you have come to understand when you became a teacher? Simple logic. This is where it's obvious that if you remain a non-Muslim till you meet your Creator, Allah, you will surely enter the hell fire with ease. It's like saying "charcoal" is delicious and eatable. But clearly everyone knows charcoal is not delicious or eatable and no one can explain or understand how it's. All what you need is to lead him to confess Christ whether he means it or not and leave the rest for Christ that says if anyone can confess Him with his mouth he or she shall be saved.
