A Mallard hen built a nest behind our house a couple of years earlier. Either she or another hen returned to the same nest to lay eggs. This is the second clutch of duck eggs hatched the same year. The ducklings left the nest on the morning of June 16, 2020.
This was recorded with a Canon Rebel T7i and Tamron 150-600mm lens. While recording, the tripod mount nut came loose and the camera got wobbly and the onboard image stabilization was not enabled. When the next duck settles into this nest to lay eggs, I will be better prepared to capture the duck hatching timelapse and the video of ducklings leaving the nest.
