I recall watching the original "World of Ducks Unlimited" on TNN Outdoors as I was growing up and just getting into hunting. I would look forward every Saturday morning to the show and never miss an episode, at that time for 12 months of the year all I thought about was duck and goose hunting. The theme music was iconic to me and one that brings back those nostalgic feelings. As I got to be an adult I was lucky enough to work for Ducks Unlimited Canada for over 10 years. Any chance @DucksUnlimited there are copies of these early shows for purchase? Would love to rewatch the shows of my youth!

This video could be more of “how “we” created habitat for them to come to us”… but

……but that’s beside the point, because loss of habitat is the biggest factor when coming to declining spices. Don’t see groups like mountain bikers or photographers helping wild habitat much. But you see hunters across the board helping through conservation groups like DU or buying into the sport and adding to funds from help like the Pittman-Robertson act. Where a percentage of hunting equipment goes directly into wildlife conservation. Buying licenses and tags to hunt, that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars, that go directly into wildlife conservation, But…..
