I thought we were unreal last night. Yeah you can be forgiven for being a bit disappointed with the misses. But if you objectively look at the football we played and the opportunities we created. It was an excellent performance from the team. Connor Barron is a future captain that has that consistent grit and desire that you want in that type of leadership role. His engine is also ridiculous. Ive seen enough of kasanwirjo already to be extremely interested in bringing him in on a permanent. Then you can look towards a future of Tav moving on (realistically) at the end of the season with a rotation of Sterling/Kasanwirjo at rb, and Jefte/Yilmaz as our strong pairs in the back,

Odd how the timing works. Everytime we draw a Scandinavian team I think.. ffs that's it. Then again we usually face them in August (sometimes late July) and that gives them a huge advantage.. we're just starting season and they're into it for a while. Late September and we're more into our season and they're finishing off their season.. I'm not taking owt away from the team FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE and result, but we need to bear that in mind. 68 and jumping about like a wee boy when McCausland got that second. Other big factor is in Europe the referees can be good or bad and we KNOW it's just our donald duck, whereas in Scotland the officials are 85% cowards and 15% plain cheats. In Scotland that 2nd goal would've been ruled out as off side and we'd be left complaining among ourselves. I think Europe will once again be the only ground we get fairness. As a club we NEED to address that issue - and the blue pound will be crucial if whoever is in the Board wanna round up the troops and take action.

As an older fan from the glory days, I'm never too optimistic anymore. I still love the winning, but I'm happy for youngsters like CJ getting something to really smile about..😊

When I seen the formation, I was delighted, and it was brilliant to see them perform the way they did, but it should have been a much bigger score line. I hope now we’re finally seeing what’s to come.

This is the first real shoots of recovery. We did well against a strong opponent. I am very proud of the team and manager. Well done Rangers FC. Now to keep our feet on the ground, work on this and build on it with a winning run in the league. The lads showed they have got it and set a new bar for their level. Bajrami in first 2 full games (out of position) has set up 6 clear cut chances, forgot what it was like to see a killer pass. Shame that the finishing meant we only scored 1 of them but that game was the first time I seen us play in a system this season that allowed for quick one touch passing which just leads to so much more positive play and much more sound defensively. Hope it’s something we build on going into hibs game

So I must be honest and say that Clement called it right and I take my hat off to him as I had my doubts. I thought Taverneir had his best* game of the season but you're correct CJ he was still our weakest link. Big Soapy and Robin were both rock sold. Nana had an AWESOME game He looked like a natural LB. I hope he gets played at RB SOON. Our midfield of Barron, Diomande and yes even Lawrence were excellent. Barron was EVERYWHERE. Cerny had his moments Bajrami was MOTM and Dessers? Well one of my biggest criticisms of him was that he was shit at hold up play but last night his hold up play was very good Now if only the boy could SCORE. He could have had at least a double. We could and SHOULD have won 5 or 6 NIL plus we should have had 2 penalties for the RUGBY tackles in the box. A scoreline of 5 or 6 NIL would NOT have flattered us because we dominated that game. I was delighted for the young Ulsterman with a great goal. He showed strength as the defender tried to rip the shirt off his back then he showed composure, then he showed he had been learning and finally he showed precision. All in all, it was a great result against a team that everyone thought would skelp us but it was the other way around. I will happily admit that my doubts are unfounded. Crucially though, as you point out CJ, the team needs to produce that level of performance, as a MINIMUM, in every game now both domestically and in Europe 🇬🇧❤️🤍💙🇬🇧 *that being his best game wouldn't be difficult as he has been WOEFUL this season

When your the constant weakest link WEEKLY in that team and clearly have a ready made younger, fitter and stronger rb who was outstanding out of position on Thursday there’s only 1 man to blame and that’s the manager. I said it at the start…if he continues to play Tav he will be out the door like the rest. On his head be it!! Most of there chances started down the left as per! Tav was stinking

I'm a bit late with my comment but I am still on a high from just how dominant we were. Bajrami, Barron, Diomande and Dessers were superb for us. And this new kid from Feyenoord looks to be a great bit of buisness for us also. It could and should have been a 4 or 5 nothing rout but how can anyone complain with a start like that to our european campaign. Hats off to the boss for changing things up formation and player wise as it it obviously worked. I could not be more happy with how this side are starting to gel and improve with each game. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going. I fully believe in what PC is trying to do and our recruitment doesnt seem to be as bad as alot of people are making out. 🇬🇧WATP🇬🇧

I'd like tae see Barron, Diomande and Raskin in the midfield for a couple of games. Diomande in the 10. Lawrence in the last 2 or 3 games has looked good but I think those 3 look like terriers. Also like the defence just defending.

Bang on as usual CJ! In spite of not scoring, I thought Dessers put in a real shift for the team. And starting Cerny, then subbing him for McCausland is definitely the correct tactic. He’ll never be the most attractive player in the team but Barron is doing a terrific job with his determination and work ethic. Must be the first name on the team sheet every match now.

The key elements here are keeping players fit and recognising our best 11 and playing them regularly to gain that chemistry and understanding between each other,you can see although it's not perfect souttar and propper are starting to gel as a unit as a good example of this,still work to do but not the lost hope many thought we were!
