When in power, the same set of babus were not talking to public citing their policy but just after the retirement they all seemed to have acquired magic wand of solutions to all world problem. This gentleman wasn’t reducing interest rates citing volatile world economic situation and challenging china policies but now he can even give advise on nutrition

As far as I know, the current governments in Andhra and Tamil Nadu are doing an excellent job in this regard. I believe that state governments should take on this responsibility, and the center should provide adequate funding.

My state tamilnadu has been making strides for many years to curb malnjtrition and hunger by offering mid day meal scheme that too nutritious mid day meal scheme to attract children to school ao that they study as well as eat.even rationing system is successful in my state which drastically reduced our malnutrition rate.hope other states also follow states so india as whole can curb this problem

Egg and milk is given for free in every govt schools in Kerala till 4th standard. And it's not just roti and salt. There is different menu each day. Different vegetable curries are given with rice everyday till 8th standard for free..

As far as I know central government is doing excellent work in Maharashtra at least since last 10 years… my mom she works for Zilla Parishad and she’s responsible for the nutrition of pregnant women and all the kids below 6 yrs old in more than 30 grampanchyat near Pune. I strongly believe that population should be controlled first. When people who can't feed themselves, have more than 3 kids, where can you lay the blame? How much can you do at district or state or central level? It's heartbreaking to see the number of kids begging at the road signals. Just addressing the symptoms is not enough. We have to fight at the root. After corruption whatever is left is not enough for the system to cater to people. As usual middle class is only burdened further and bears the brunt for both upper and lower class. We have been taught about population explosion since the 90s but nothing has been done. unless you implement a strict law and enforce it, things are going to get worse in our country. Our people simply lack the decorum, discipline and decency.

Man didn’t have any problem when congress was in government. Didn’t see him complaining then. All problems appear just now? This is the only government that talked about toilets. Imagine being independent for 70 years and not having toilets. This man was RBI governor but more than half of the bank accounts were opened when BJP government came and he was succeeded by another governor. This government is running the biggest free ration scheme that gives ration to 800 million people that congress takes jibes at. The same congress that he supports. These people are no good when in power or in position to do something but suddenly when removed from office becomes expert on every issue.

Sir if you had not increased repo rates every one month the market would had been stable rise. But when high command was ready with buy order you used to increase the repo rates. There was no certanity of the market. Mutual funds were going in red. Middle class was becoming poor. And you are talking about poverty. Also you wanted Rbi to be an independent entity. Rbi never had any claim department. Rbi could have played well in eradicating the poverty. But you didnt.

Most of those kids are from those caravan type of people who do not stay at one place and go places to places ti make money. Also these people have too many kids and their income is also less. They are also out from govt hospitals, anganvadi radars as they keep on moving. There are many schemes to provide free meals to malnourished kids. Also some mother dont understand that their child are malnourished. Being a mother myself my kid had become look like a malnourished kid because she couldnt eat anything after 6 months of age. From 6 months to around 3 years of age, she doesnt are anything nutritious, good things i provide. She was only on khichdi and milk. No matter what anyone try she doesnt eat. Even if she eatshe vomits it in the middle of the meal. Docotr said its gut proble. Which many kids have but heals as they grow up.

There are govt schools, anganvadis providing free nutritious food to kids. Its not that it is not there. Eve. Specific program allows children free food at hospitals for malnourished kids until they grow up. People have access but they do not use it.

We were 15% of the world economy. Today we are 4% of the world economy and food is not a major problem, wastage is. An economist called Angus Fraser was tasked with finding out the richest civilization throughout history. He showed it was India. Google that.
