There are gay men who don't mind it, and there are gay men who find it derogatory. There are also straight people who do so to gay men in both affectionate and derogatory ways. And Malory's intent is the latter. Ramona is a woman's name and is close enough to "Raymond" for her to use.

For me the scripting was amazing the way it cut to a different scene using a reply to what someone in a different scene said. It’s hard to pick one off the top of my head as there are just so many.
