I happen to listen to hundreds of records.. Though, THANK GOD, very few local ones! It doesn't cost to do decent transfers. Just transfer them from cassettes if the original masters don't exist. Charm - is your being 'natural'.

Enzo you are a public person so you've got no choice other to declare your name! We're just speculators taking the mickey (well, most of the time), so anonymity suits us! I like the original version of this song. It's a pity that the originals haven't been re-issued on CD. These new versions may be slightly better in terms of sound quality but all that synth work is atrocious. Not your fault obviously - it's our rubbishy local producers. We need to admit that local producers are amateurs. My point is to actually that I wish to see re-issues of old Maltese songs ***as they were***. All it takes is a transfer. No matter how faithful one is to a song - it will never be the same when you re-record it. It's a technological reason . I said Julio because of your crooning and charm (although THANKS GOD you don't project a womanizer image...I find that revolting - whoever does it). I am not a fan of him either. Too cheesy...
And what are the strings? Real strings? Re synths: I am not talking about this song - come on Enzo, don't tell me there's quality in today's local productions? You know well that producers use synths/MIDI/sampling in every old Maltese song they re-issue. All of our heritage has been destroyed. I am not criticising your songs or your singing AT ALL.
