I read in an article that someone had done a vocal cover of the GoT soundtrack... so I came straight to youtube and searched 'malukah game of thrones'. Yep, right first time! :p

I'm convinced this is magic now. I was cycling home from school, sat down on my PC shaking from the cold, turned on this... And suddenly my face feels normal after the first 15 seconds or so. That and it's otherwise just amazing.

The end where you use percussions and it segues into "the children" is breathtaking. Really incredible.

I remember playing Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Zombies on Buried and I found the secret song, Always Running and I fell in love with your voice! At first I thought you was Amy Lee from the band, Evanescence. When I searched it up, I found that it you. To this day, whenever I play on Buried, I always get the three bears for the secret song. I recently got The Elder Scrolls Online for the PlayStation4 and when I first heard the female singer, I searched for her and once I found her, I sat and danced there, listening to her for about 30 minutes. When I finally left to do some Quest, I searched Elder Scrolls Online songs and I found that it was you and realised I had seen your name before. Which was in-fact, the Buried song, Always Running. Now I have found your RU-vid Channel and Subscribed. I would also love to hear you sing a Evanescence song as I am such a huge fan and not really heard an amazing singer, sing a cover of a Evanescence song with such melody and beauty in their voice. I think you would do a perfect job! I'm sure you're way to busy though. Loved your cover of the Game of Thrones Theme Tune as much as I do Game of Thrones!

I was just casually listening while painting. The minute I switched windows, I see Malukah jamming on drums, guitar, and piano. I don't know why, but it made me happy.

I really liked this variation of the theme music when I first heard it, it felt slower, and more epic, and then I realized I had almost a year to wait till I heard it on a episode new again, and I wanted to frigging cry. Ten eps a year of this VISUAL CRACK is not enough.

Very few songs have such an impact on me that they inspire me to write. You have just done so. Please allow me to share what you have inspired with this song. A beautiful maiden stands alone in an empty chapel. Kneeling before a small shrine, she prays to the gods, paying no mind to the biting cold of the flagstones. After a time, she hears soft steps behind her and turns to see her handmaidens. It was time. Nodding to the young girls, she stands and turns to the center of the room. The girls bring forth boxes decorated in gold and gems. Opening the boxes, they reveal gleaming gold and silver armor, lovingly shined and polished to the point of reflecting starlight. In total silence the young girls dress the maiden in layers of cloth and leather, finally strapping the exquisite armor onto her lithe frame. As a shimmering red cloak is fastened to her shoulders, one of the girls brings her a sheathed sword, her small hands trembling. The maiden takes the weapon and gently trails an armored finger along her cheek, raising the girls’ eyes to hers and give her a gentle smile. The fear instantly leaves the girl and she bows to the maiden. The girls place the sword on her waist and strap it into place, then step back and kneel on the floor, bowing before her. She places her hand on the head of each one and whispers a small prayer. Walking to the great doors before her, the armored maiden takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, whispering one final prayer. Placing her hands on the massive stone doors, she easily pushes them open and walks out of the chapel. The sound of thousands of cheering voices greet her as she strides down the marble steps, rows of soldiers in gleaming armor lining each side of the steps with spears held high in salute. Sunlight glinting off her armor, the wind catches her cloak, billowing behind her in a crimson train of starlight. Standing at the balcony, the maiden looks out over the forces arrayed before her in perfect formation. Hundreds of thousands of faces gazing up at her as a sudden silence falls over them. She gives no speech and offers no platitudes. Only draws her sword and raises it above her head softly uttering a single word that echoes through the air, heard by all in her sight. “War.” The quiet is shattered by the answering roar. A thunderous war-cry explodes from the throats of more than five-hundred-thousand warriors and the air trembles with the force of their voices. Dragon-mounted knights numbering in the thousands fly in formation overhead as the great beasts add their own cries to the reverberating sound. Gazing over the vast forces, the maiden listens to them as they begin chanting the name of their queen, their divine empress, their goddess of war. The name they would kill for with zealous rage. The last word on their lips as they died, surrounded by blood and fire. The name of the one they would follow into the depths of hell itself and rejoice in doing so. Her name. Hidden behind the windblown locks of her hair, a single tear falls. Never stop, Malukah. Your music belongs in the halls of the gods.

Been a fan of her since I heard her version of "The Rains of Castamere" for the first time a couple of years back. Her voice is dreamy, and her adjustments make the songs she sings much better. This was absolutely awesome. And that word fails to give it justice.

The fact that this version wasn't the end credits music for the S7 finale is a crime that HBO should rectify immediately. Melancholy and solemn open with overtones of sadness and despair leading into strong notes of hope and resolve...more than likely what S8 will be.
