As much as I know people mean well with this, saying "you're gifted" completely devalues all the blood, sweat and tears you put into practice and achieving great results, and that's quite insulting as it completely ignores the fact that you work so fucking hard with what you do.

Practice makes perfect and hones your music but if you're not born with the voice then no amount of practice will make you sing beautifully...that's why it's a "gift"

If you were a cynical person you would think that but when someone says "you are gifted" it means well, whether you believe it or not. Some people no matter how hard they practice will never hit levels of this skill. They may in other fields but not everyone can achieve the same. Saying "you're gifted" is another way of saying you can do things i can't and ITS AMAZING

no instead of fus ro dah its JOOR ZAH FRUL (dragonrend) or YOL TOOR SHUL (fire breath) or just a arrow gently flies through her hair and lodges itself in alduins eye. alduin rears back his nightlike black head in pain and curses the heavens as dovahkiin runs through the burning house, sword poised to strike. but just before he can land a strike down on alduin he rears back his head as dovahkiin quickly realizes the danger. he shouts the ancient words MUL QAH DIV (dragon aspect) and shields the bard with his body. when the onslaught of searing fire ends the dovahkiin still in pain from his seared flesh turns to face the world eater. their eyes lock and the dovahkiin yells at alduin in ancient dragon tounge his raw power spills forth and the ground quakes "ALDUIN NALL FIN SULYEK DO UN BORMAH BORMAHU ZU'U FEN AL HI AHRK OBLAAN HIN THUR" (alduin by the power of our father akatosh i will destroy you and end your tyranny) dovahkiin draws his sword and lets out a fierce battle cry and charges alduin. alduin tries to fly away but dovahkiin cuts his wing and alduin is crippled he flies to the top of dragons reach, dovahkiin sprints to the top and kicks down the door malukah right behind him still singing dovahkiin walks toward alduin. alduins eyes are filled with fear as he realizes his fate is sealed . dovahkiin opens his mouth slowly whilst walking closer to alduin. alduin backs up against the lip of the deck with nowhere to go he tries to fight back. alduins fiery breath spews forth from his mouth, but dovahkiin raises his shield and blocks the flame. his shield lowers and dovahkiin lets out a shout the gods can feel in their soul. FUS RO DAH. the words echo through whiterun as alduin falls of the edge of dragonsreach dovahkiin jumps off the edge and spears his throat with his sword, alduin hits the ground,from his corpse dovahkiin rises and mutters the words VOKUL FEN MAH.. the end

Ok, to Gilgamesh and brysoon, I absolutely fucking loved that. I have never been that close to tears since the Brotherhood questline. That was a truly beautiful concept. You both should be Bethesda devs or mod creators. This should definitely be added.
