PS: I’ve gone a little overboard with this and the GoT cover, with all the little windows. Hehe! It’s been a great experience to learn more about video and filming different instruments, but I do hope to scale back a bit on that. I find myself having to spend many days editing, and I think I’d be happier with a simpler video and using the extra time to record more music. :)
That being said, I loved filming the drums for this. I called the first music academy I attended (they still remember me!) and got their permission to film on the same drum set that I took lessons on when I was 13. It's nice to add new memories to all the old ones I have of that place!

Now THIS is how a cover is done! By executing it so beautifully and uniquely, with so much heart that the listener forgets all about the original! I cant think of any other cover that has done this so well since Johnny Cash's version of Hurt!

Something that really adds to every video you've made is the fact you are visibly, genuinely and obviously enjoying yourself. It's the way it should be when you're making music, but so many people focus too much on playing and not enough on letting go and experiencing. To be honest, I think it's one of the main reasons (aside from the fact you make wonderful music) I subscribed. Keep it up, you're awesome :)

I don't know if anyone else gets like this but, there are times when I get a craving for a certain song or rather, the feeling the song evokes, and I find myself rummaging through the internet, my personal song collection, or the radio for hours. It's like when you're in the mood for that one particular food and you dig through the cupboard or pantry, or run out to the store. Nothing else will do. Sometimes I'm searching but, I don't even know what for. I just know I will know it when I hear it. Found it. Thank you Malukah and keep up the good work.

First heard you thanks to a Skyrim mod, changing the intro music to the Dragonborn Comes. I'm a huge fan of this song, best of you and learn to fly. You breathe new life into every song you cover. I've never been a huge fan of this song, and frankly, after hundreds of hours, Skyrim's soundtrack started to wear on me, but your covers make them feel like completely different songs (in a very good way). Never stop making music.

Wow. There are very, very few covers that I like as well as the original. Most artists covering fall short because they seem to lack a fundamental understanding of what the song is about and the feelings it evokes in listeners. If you have that, you can play around with tempo, key, etc. and still have a wholly satisfying song. If you don't, it's been a waste all around. I keep hitting replay on this. You have all the intensity and feeling of the original, while making something that is wholly yours and wonderful. You're an amazing talent and have really taken this song to a new level. Thank you for making good art.
