Hi, it really depends on the level of protection you're looking for. For instance, real-time protection and certain ad-ons. I haven't tried using those in conjunction myself, a lot of antivirus providers don't let you run two programs at the same time on one device. Let me know how you get on?
@@cybernews I do this since my Malwarebytes premium ended and I don’t wanna buy it again and it works pretty well, windows defender isn’t the best and there are false positives that pop up frequently but it’s pretty good it’s free it comes with windows and it works fast and well

Interested to see free options of compatible real time anti-virus protection , some do not work well if you have malwarebytes installed, so I am curious to see the options and what they offer, as of now I have the premium on android only, on PC I have the windows protection and the malwarebytes that I completely scan with once each 3-7 days (and the small easy safety scan once 1-3 days)
hey brother just a question. My dad currently has malwarebytes on his pc. However when I asked him how he got it, It's from a company that resells malwarebytes. He was also asked bout his PC Details cause apparently they need it. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it simple to get malwarebytes? You buy it and download it. Hi Cedric! With the little information provided, I'll try to give some suggestions. It is probable that your father has fallen for a popular scam, though Malwarebytes do have a reseller program. I'd recommend asking your father how much he paid for the AV license and then check if its the same as advertised on Malwarebytes webpage. If it is considerably more - that's a red flag; a potential sign of foul-play. If this is the case, you should ask your father where exactly the service was purchased, and contact fraud action/cyber police. Alternatively, you could run a scan from a trusted AV, downloaded from a reputable source just to be safe. I hope this helps, good luck!
@@cybernews Thanks this means a lot! So apparently my dad said he got it from datamavic thats there company. Also I went to check his PC and he doesnt have the software itself. I did find that he has Malwarebytes Endpoint Agent. I also messaged malwarebytes regarding the issue. By any chance do u know what is malwarebytes endpoint agent? thanks again

Hi. So the free version is an essential tool that can clean up an already infected computer well. But it isn't a fix all solution as you'd probably have to use the free version in conjunction with another antivirus solution. If you're looking for advanced protection, the premium plan is worth looking into, especially considering their real-time protection offered. Sure, it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles some other providers offer, but that isn't to say the premium version isn't a good security tool. It really depends on the add-on features you expect from an antivirus. :)
@@cybernews Thank you very much for your honest and knowledgeable reply, to be honest I'm fed up with all the process required to have a normal and some what enjoyable time without worrying that it's going to end in a flick of a finger that is stolen private information and such, in general I'm really sorry if my comment sounded like I was criticizing your mere opinion from a professional perspective. To your reply I resulted to trying out the software even though I had mixed opinion about something I heard and researched 2 minutes after my windows defender notified me about the possible risks from a traced malware, it handled the quarantine pretty well, so I want to thank you for reassuring me that I don't have to go through another hassle. Subscribed btw and expect for more great reviews on the possible softwares I'd be using in the future.
Malwarebytes is good for free, but premium notifies you if something's wrong. Malwarebytes comes with a chrome extension that blocks malware and ads (even RU-vid ads! The video creator still gets money because the ad plays for a second and then skips). Malwarebytes saved my PC.
Malaware bytes is awesome I finally removed a Trojan mouse that took 6 hours with windows protector that didn't do a whole lot. I installed this and it found everything. The virus also changed my reboot key and went to my USB. Malawarebytes fixed the USB and pc.
After what installing Malwarebytes did to my laptop, I'm now of the opinion that Malwarebytes is itself, MALWARE. It took a lot of sleuthing, and a lot of digging, to remove MB completely. Upon installing it I started having problems with my mouse, started getting BSOD for no reason, and several other issues. Finally determined it was the Malwarebytes application. Used Revo to remove it and its hundreds of drill-down bits, and now things are fine again. Maybe it's a great app, maybe it does what it's supposed to do for many, but it wasn't for me, so I will say 'no thanks' going forward.

How do you get to Security settings menu? When I open Settings, all optional tabs are General, My Account, Scheduled Scans, and Advance. None of these provide Security settings.

yes, it´s just that you need tu uninstall one of ur antivirus, AVG probably is not a virus, but when you have 2 antivirus, they start fighting between them, thats a dissaster!

So I used Malwarebytes and when I got this Garry's Mod free game, because well I wont get a Steam card I knew that the Garry's Mod free one that I got I used before and it worked, so then when I got Malwarebytes it deleted it and I just hate that.

Hi, it depends on which device you'll primarily be using? Eset gets pretty expensive with more than one device, whereas Malwarebytes can cover up to 5 devices.

Hey, Malwarebytes does have some alternative tools like their free Rootkit scanner, or free trojan scanner. Then there's their free virus scanner, the free antivirus is a good starting point, but not the most advanced solution. Premium options gives you on-going protection against viruses and malware, rather than just scanning and cleaning when you think your device might be infected.
I have been using Malwarebytes for years...every since my computer guy recommended it. I have no doubt that they are good at their primary goal, BUT their web page STINKS. I haven't had such difficulty navigating a web since Netscape was being used as a browser. I found it impossible to just change my email address; they "send" a verification code, but it may or may not arrive (mine did not) AND their web site help is, well, helpless. Please guys, update your web page to make to more user friendly. If a client has the correct login name and password, why require a verification code just to change or add and email address? BTW, the reason I am posting this on RU-vid is because I could locate no other way to contact their staff.
Same thing happened to me yesterday, Microsoft defender couldn’t identify the threat. Than I downloaded malwarebytes and it quarantined the 6-7 Trojan files. Once it’s quarantined you just delete it! I’m honestly just gonna buy the premium version lol.

Came to see the malwarebytes review and saw the link for deals the same second i saw TOTAL AV i knew you cannot be trusted. That company is a fraud and has scammed many people they own a bunch of AV's and make false positives and so on a simple google search is enough how shady it is. You promoting it on YOUR website makes me think you are a fraud / paid to say what you just said.
I’ve been using MalwareBytes premium since 2015 after I got an IMPOSSIBLE virus from a sketchy textbook link. Bastard gave itself admin status and it took my local comp sci students 2 hours to fix it. Details are fuzzy, but I think he ended up using it to clean the virus up? And he and his friends recommended Premium if I was going to continue… certain money saving behaviors.
