The man fascinated by the revolving door is not nearly as enthralled over the concept itself, but at how all those references that use revolving doors to illustrate a point (i.e. "If she starts dating any more men, she is gonna need to put a revolving door in her home!") now make sense to him.
That first clip brought back memories. When I was 3 or 4, mom took me downtown for a shopping excursion. When we went into the department store I got my head stuck in the revolving door (something I also had never seen before). Thanks, mom, for being an observant parent and protecting me from all manner of harm. Kudos to that guy's mom, who never exposed him to that particular danger.

Jim Carrey is one of the greatest comics and actors of all time!!! He's a brilliant comedian and actor, I loved the Ace Ventura movies. He was great in the Truman Show and Liar Liar. Also he was the Grinch in The Grinch Stole Christmas, no one but him could have pulled that off live action.

I remember my brother showing the same enthusiasm for an electronic revolving door once, the thing is: electronic doors stop revolving after a short time, and if you keep going round in it, there’s a chance the door can stop trapping you between the closed off section be the interior and exterior of the doorway.

That's actually a big misconception about the Amish. They do, in fact, use electricity in some situations - even producing it themselves. They even have the internet now. The difference is they don't _over-use_ it and you have to have a _very_ specific need or requirement to use the internet, and only use it for as little time as you can possibly get away with to complete your task. I watched a video where an ex-member of the Amish was saying that they do most of their banking online now, because you _have_ to since so many of the branches have closed or don't offer the same services they once did.
