If anyone is curious as to why the cat is so accepting: It's pretty normal for animals who recently had babies, to adopt other babies even if they're not the same species. The cat has kittens and most likely decided that since the puppy is small and crying like a baby, it's in need of it's care.
Just ask a friend who's pregnant or just given birth. They'd probably nurse the puppy themselves, if you'd let them. 🤣💕 (Motherly instincts can be crazy like that in a lot of mammals. I can totally see dairy culture starting out innocent like that. Like some loving new cow mom going "whatever this hairless, hoof-less create is, I'ma adopt it. 🤱💕")
I love how the cat just had the natural instinct to take care of the little puppy even though she understands it’s not a cat. She just recognized he was small and fragile so she wanted to take care of it.
I hate to break it to you for the most part she is so flushed with hormones that anything small squirming she would think is one of her litter I seen another video like it where after giving birth a cat adopted a bunch of duckling who had recently hatched.
@@Phantom19913 i hate to break it to you but the behaviors of humans are also the same chemically induced evolutionary structure that is same as the cat. Which means anything you decided is mainly decided by chemicals and hormones in your body. I dont get people like you...that somehow great moments like this happened it is belittled as hormonal induced . The cat could have easily bite the puppy dude. Which has happpend, you gonna blame hormones on that too? Fuck when humans have sex , how much of it is hormonal induced? Doesnt change the social aspect and benefits of it. You can imply and act like humans have this special place of logic and higher compassion which is seperated from the animals. But dude, the basis of your actions is still based on those chemicals which is the same as these animals.
The anthropomorphizing bro science is strong in the comment section. You can do what you'd like but I won't assume anything until we can read animals minds.
Thomas K+ I think that has serious reason, if a lion mother kill their babies. F.e. if she is too young, there is no food, there is too much danger (resident male was killed/fought off, and a new male took its place...though I think that the killing of the kittens happens only if they´re are only a few days old...not older), the kitten are sick & won´t survive anyway etc. I have seen that in domestic cats as well.
Luke Mckenzie Always remember time is short. We must repent of our sins (sin is transgression of The Turah) and believe on The Master Yahusha. We must believe on Yahusha. In Hebrew, the word "believe" means to "trust and obey" so we must trust and obey Yahusha Faith saves you. TRUE faith will produce obedience. If we have genuine faith, we will obey YAHUAH’S Law (Turah). We will repent when we stumble into sin (sin is transgression of The Turah) and trust in The Master Yahusha. Grace is what allows us to be the men and women that YAHUAH The Father in Heaven called us to be. It allows us to obey through His SET-APART (HOLY) RUACH (SPIRIT). 🙂

@@ftl1355 well, to be honest, all religions and gods are mainly a scam. Religion should only aid people who need to believe in something greater to help themselves feel better about their life, but most religions are used for fear, control, money and power. You know. The usual stuff xd
The curiosity and want in that cats eyes as soon as they approached with the crying puppy and started handing it over killed me, my heart cannot handle just how innocent and precious this is. She was going to accept that puppy as soon as she heard it and even started getting a sort of expectant look as if demanding to have it. We used to have chihuahuas actually that would steal each others puppies even if they didn't have pups themselves at the time and this reminds me of their sudden, "It's mine now, you can't have it back, just hand it over and everything will go smoothly."
When he gets older, puppy will have serious difficulty explaining to the other dogs why he uses a litter box, a scratching post, and tries to purr when petted.
We had a doberman who napped on the upper kitchen cabinets, played/fought dog and cat style, and tried out the cat box. As an adult it was a snug fit against the ceiling but cats like that; cats all played with him inside but would refuse to go outside with him (large backyard let him build too much speed); cats put a stop to the cat box experiment (he didn't cover). He was raised by two cats with four kittens. The perfect dog.
@@kathryngeeslin9509 Amazing how animals can adapt to almost any social situation if treated with love and taught good manners! I can imagine the shock of walking into someone's kitchen and seeing a dobie on the top of the cabinets!
@@Elyrium42 correct. a baby is a baby and cannot simply be one if it isn't a baby and a baby can't be a baby if its been born for a while making it not a baby, but the ones that are born right away are considered a baby therefore theorectically speaking a baby is a baby
Mama Cat: What the? Oh Heck, he looks hungry... C'mere little baby, I got milk for you... Puppy: sucking.. Mama Cat: Oh yeah, he'll make a fine cat! :) Well Puppy, you have brothers and sisters, welcome Home! :)
That's probably not far off. Because of the oxytocin in her, mother cat would happily mother anything she encounters. Like, 'oh, a child? G I V E M E T H E C H I L D'
Mama dog a few days later:”come on cat, give me back my babies” Mama cat:”your babies? You mean MY babies, now go away if ull excuse me I have some babies to take care of”
Funniest thing I've ever saw was when my father put duck eggs for a chicken to hatch them. After that happened and few days passed, ducks naturally started swimming in water. The chicken was going nuts thinking they will drown lol.
5 stages of adoption for the Cat: -What the hell is that? -I don't want that thing. -Don't put it in the box with me!! -Oh it's so precious. -You're my son now and anyone who touches you will be killed without mercy.
Your cat is a loving creature who feels fully connected with the family. She feels so connected that she accepts treating the puppy as an offspring of a fellow colony member in need of her love and care.
I get what @norlight is saying. if the mom cat only saw the puppy as beautiful to begin with she wouldn't have the means to call the puppy ugly in the first place. you Know do to her motherly eyes. idk, I think that's what they are trying to say.
I had two cats once that were mother and daughter and both had a litter. They would steal each others babies and be trying to nurse eleven kits at once. I cracked up watching these two cats swapping babies., I lost track of who owned which babies and I think they did too. One even brought in a baby rabbit.
it happened here as well xD at one point two of my cats (mother and daughter too) had babies, one had 5 and the other had 4, they'd steal each other babies too until I got one really big cardboard box and put all the 9 babies and both moms there and they stopped doing it and they started to share the space and the babies, it was really adorable xD
Harley Quinn that or was sick or too hurt to be able to take care of it itself or it may of rejected the puppy and tried to kill it yes sadly they do reject them sometimes
+Cara Elias -- The cat, since it already had kittens, has her maternal instincts in high gear. She would have fostered most newborn and/or young animal that is about the size of a kitten such as pups, rabbits, squirrels (as much as those are rodents), and the like.
Mom cat: honey, I can explain! Dad cat: You cheated me... With him? Does size really matter so much for you? Cat mom: no wait! It was the hoomen! It dropped that baby in here. I would never cheat you with that mud. He stinks!
Cat: A Baby! Is it mine? I didn't see it with the kittens. Not sure if it's mine. Puppy: Mama! Cat: Yep. Definitely mine. This is 100% my child and mine alone.
