After losing hundreds of pounds, and undergoing reality TV’s most shocking transformation, Mama June is gaining back the weight and the pressure is on to keep it off. In an outrageous weight loss competition, Mama and her arch-nemesis, Jennifer are going pound-for-pound at fit camp. But Mama finds herself stressed out when faced with unexpected pregnancy news which intensifies when her boyfriend Geno gets into trouble with the law. Following her surprising debut on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson embarks on her first teenage romance and a new career in showbiz while Pumpkin, Josh, and the cutest baby in the state of Georgia, Ella, are moving out of June’s house and into their own chaos - embroiled in Josh’s get-rich-quick schemes.

Pumpkin deserves a standing ovation for stepping in and taking Alana in since her moms house wasn’t safe for her! She’s taken her in getting her to school, feeding her, clothing her, appts, and anything else she needs! Her and her husband are so great for taking another child in full time, especially a teen! ❤️

I gained HUGE respect for Pumpkin as I watched this last season play out. She's newly married. She's trying to raise her little girl. She's having to deal with her mother's addiction and her health issues and her EXTREMELY toxic and abusive boyfriend.....and now, she's had to become a parent again, to her little sister and protect her as well. That is A LOT of pressure for someone that young to carry. I am super proud of Pumpkin. She's shown great maturity and grace.....ESPECIALLY dealing with that trashy-ass Jennifer and her BS drama. I was very happy to hear a recent update from Pumpkin that Alana IS still living with her and Josh and they are doing well. That's exactly where Alana needs to be right now. She doesn't need to be with Mama June and she DEFINITELY doesn't need to be raised by Jennifer and Sugar Bear.

HUGE props to pumpkin. she’s acting more mature than June ever did. she’s so young herself, and she has a new baby, but she’s doing everything she can to ensure Alana is happy and healthy. just the fact that she fought to get partial custody of Alana shows just how much she cares. it’s amazing that she wound up so responsible, despite having such a mess of a mother. huge props to Josh too. this is a difficult family to marry into. the fact that he’s also taken Alana in shows so much selflessness.

Well many things were happening behind scenes still. Anna didn't talk to mama June before "here comes honey boo boo" because her ex partner had sexually abused her and she didn't believe her, she was only on the show because she was promised some money (that was never given to her). I think the show made their situation worst but they were already going through some weird stuff.

EXACTLY As long as people keep actually watch these total sh!it shows, they will continue to be on. I can say that about so many other "shows." NO I DO NOT WATCH THEM to increase ratings and keep these shows on. I only got onto this video not to watch it and I didn't (but I hear beeps due to curse words) as I write this. Sister Wives is another of these shows. I watched that show for a couple of seasons; seemed interesting to see how polygamists live but then it started to be totally ridiculous. I can't believe how much $$ they have made and it's because people keep watching them !!! Let them all, the sister wives and the "husband' get regular jobs as well as "Mama June!" DAMN ! Glad I got all this off my chest . LOL. Oh and CNN is NOT the network it USED to be, like 20 hears ago. Used to be NEWS by professionals !!!!!

XVl I had weight loss surgery, too. Not as drastic as June’s. The more drastic and swift the results...the harder to deal with the new you it is. For real. For many, the new you is like living in a dream world. Most are sad and not ready to live in their new selves. I think mandatory post-surgical therapy should last indefinitely...

Lauryn really matured. She got the family back together and made some very sound decisions when it comes to helping Alana and dealing with her mom. Most 21-22 year olds wouldn’t have this kind of insight. She’s breaking the cycle of abuse, drugs and poverty. That is hard to do. Good on her!

When the original show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was cancelled, it was because there was a ton of controversy when Anna revealed Mama June's old boyfriend had molested her when she was a child and Momma June knew this and kept him around. Anna used this information to get money from her mother until the news broke and TLC had to pull the plug on that show. I believe Anna is a single mother now, she hasn't been mentioned in quite a while.

Remember.... June stole ALL of Pumpkins earnings fron the original show.... Forces her to visit her father in prison as a child when he was there for MOLESTING her and her sister.. (Btw mamma June DEFENDED him in court during that case). Then picked up that same molester when he got out.....and put him in a hotel bed with Alana when she was 8. Her uncle called CPS on her. Then Dr. Phil got involved. That's why the original show got canceled. But everyone just forgets what a piece of trash mother she has ALWAYS BEEN because she lost weight? And got "hot"?... So .... Margaret Thadison the key is to shop responsibly. You need to eat!! It’s what fuels us, but eating a plate full of veggies, tofu, some nice hummus, Brown rice. Fill your stomach up with nutritious food and snack on fruits, nuts. :) don’t buy things you know you’ll eat when you get a craving. Make healthier dessert alternatives. Frozen banana nice cream is fab! Blend up some very ripe bananas and freeze. You literally don’t need to add anything else and it’s fantastic :)

The girls need a education so they can earn a living when TV is done exploiting their dysfunction. They need counseling to avoid making the same mistakes they grew up watching June make. June chose a predator over her girls and she has left them with a lifelong struggle with food.

@@koolk2269 Alana pays a high price for being on TV in fact she just went back to public school after being homeschooled because of the bulling. She needs more than a high school education. Pumpkin married very young and the success rate for her marriage isn't great. MTV will stop paying the big bucks after they get all they can out of June's addiction and then the real world will settle in and they both need to support themselves not just get by. Maybe you didn't see Alana pretend to do drugs a few months ago but June has done a lot of damage along with Sugar Bear. That's a lot to over come.

its so sad to see alana like this, you can clearly see shes truly suffering and her whole trauma is being exploited for a show. instead of documenting the toxic parts of their issues they should base the show on alana getting help and healing from all that her mother has put her through. its sad when you see people on tv genuinely upset and not just acting. this is her real life and its being shown for entertainment, which is defiantly hard on a young girl like her with everyone expressing their harsh opinions. at her age shes already going through a lot, and showing this on tv giving millions to say what they want is horrible especially on her self esteem. i cant imagine going though something like this being documented every moment. yea its "good television" but its a real person with real feelings and you can see the harm thats already been done. thats all im gonna say. i wish alana the best and i hope she gets better. as for june... well she chose gino over her children and grandchildren so... i'll stop there

As someone who’s had to look after another sibling while their parents are are drugs I know how hard it is. I respect the hell out of pumpkin. It’s hard. We weren’t rich like them, middle class but at 17 taking care of my brother that was 3 years younger was the worst and hardest years of my life. Stay hopeful kids, and even if she doesn’t get better you can have a good life without her being close.

My sister had to raise me when she was 11 up until I was 3 and my brother 5. After that cps got involved my brother and I were abused in a foster home, then sent to my grandmas. I didnt see any of the family I was raised with until I was 8 almost 9. Sorry for venting I just havent said anything about it until now. I cant understand everything here.

I have heard how bad foster homes can be and I am truely sorry. It’s hard to look past so much bad that has been thrown upon you but I swear there is so much more than that. And if it’s being cocky idc it’s made me a better more caring and alert person. You are loved and deserve to have the life you want, parents don’t decide that for you.

It has nothing to do with Hollywood. June had a food addiction and it transferred to something else. That’s why many addicts, when they quit whatever they’re addicted to move on to a different addiction. Hollywood made it so she could lose weight easier...because if you’d notice, 3/4 of her children are still obese, had it not been for Hollywood and her want for a “revenge body“, they would’ve all continued to enable each other.

I hope this show doesn’t center around June’s addiction for too long. Yes, it’s unfortunate, but life moves on. The whole family must recognize that a drug addict decides on their own when they want to change. No amount of love or chasing them will matter, it’s on the addict. They must let go, pray for the best and move on. June will be back in due time.

It is really common for someone to switch from one addiction to another and I really I wish this was more talked discussed. With Mama June I think once she couldn’t binge eat like she was used to, her food addiction transferred over to gambling and drugs.
