Ofc they are, its just they are rather dummies in comparison to the other animals which hunt, protect their spaces, use phsyic laws to get food (crows throwing nuts from high places to crush the shell) etc. Koalas simply dont care about those things because their food is widely available, their habitats are around those trees, no one preys on them except dingos who kill them for fun mostly as their meat is full of eucalyptus toxins and thus not tasty.

Awww...a mama and baby koala. They're probaly looking for food for the four hours they're awake. (Koalas sleep 20 hours a day, no lie!) Anyway, so cute!
