The new Gauteng MEC for Infrastructure and Cooperative Governance and
Traditional Affairs Jacob Mamabolo conducted a site visit at the
Rooiwal Waste Water Treatment Plant in Tshwane.
The facility has been criticised for its lack of capacity to purify
waste water, which has resulted in residents struggling with
consistent water supply.
Mamabolo says the provincial government has to find creative ways to
partner with the private sector.
