dangdang really has that og mamamoo feel (even the key change!) and in a recent interview they said it was supposed to be a mamamoo song originally but never got released, so glad it finally got released! They really gave us everything 🙏

The song in the end of the MV was their intro for their album "two rabbits" Love the intro song and wish it was a full song!! and then there is two more songs apart from Save me and dangdang, i like this and Starry sea and those songs are sooo good!!! Starry sea have become my favorite song ths year. Also love how they recorded another version of dangdang when they sing "shy girl" instead of "shy boy" on some of the music shows
the last part of the mv is their intro song in the album 'two rabbits' 😊😊😊 I think you will also like the 'starry sea' and 'i like this' which is their other songs in the album ❤

Oh, I'm so excited for you to listen to the rest of the mini-album! I wish I had new ears so I could listen to it again for the first time. I genuinely love each song in different ways.
This is a catchy song and this song is alice in wonderland. They are the two rabbits enticing you down the rabbit hole. The watch at the start, the tea party, the flower garden etc all that concept of alice. They also have other references, twit(moonbyul, solar and hwasa wrote dang dang). Still kind of amazing these two in their 30s can look that cute. Save me was written by moonbyul and one of the guys from Onewe, what would it be like if you were the last person on earth missing someone, kind of sad but they sing it so perfectly. And Solar, she could sing a new human into existence if she was the last person on earth.
Dang dang is soooo catchy, i had it stuck in my head for days. Can't believe this was the song that was originally planned to be the title track for Yellow Flower but because of Solar's back injury, they went with Starry Night since the choreo was more simple. Save Me is absolutely beautiful. They performed a live acoustic version and I love that even more. Great reaction, Caitlin!
Queer Activism FYI about this comeback: Moon Byul too, but especially Solar made it abundantly clear that they were forced by the company to make the song heterosexual. They both wanted to leave it undefined and hate that it's not, because that factor really means a lot to them. And to not have that in a song/ album they poured their hearts and efforts into, is really sad. Mamamoo fans are 90% lesbians women & even though I'm neither of those things, our fandom stands in solidarity and we were all very confused at the "shy boy" verse, because it turned the entire song heterosexual, which is just very unlike Mamamoo. Most of their songs are open, some directed at men (not all in a positive way; some talk about trauma) and a few are directed at women (mumumumuch, Um Oh Ah Yeh, Shutdown). The two members obviously caught wind of the fans' reactions. Two days into the comeback, Solar was seen unexpectedly entering the company at dusk and leaving again at dawn... I assume she really fought the CEO. And a day later, they performed a "hey shy girl" version they performed at 2 out of their 4 comeback performances. And at a festival event, they were supposed to sing the original version again, but Solar just sings "hey shy girl, come on shy boy" over the backing vocals that only say "boy". This is why we love them. They're genuine and real in their activism. It's not pretty. It's not always glamorous. Half of it is just donations we don't hear about, because they know activism isn't supposed to be a show. And when they... mess up... they do everything they can to make it up and educate themselves. I'm a proud MooMoo!
