This Nada Sou Sou is my first shed of tears over a K-Pop performance, nothing beats that. Not even Mamamoo's or the original version of Nada Sou Sou.

Solars been one of the best vocalist in the third gen from the start of her career to the end! The fact she never regressed but improved after people said her technique will be her downfall. Pre-debut and debut solar reminds me of purple kisses jieun

Solar did this project of covers first instead of doing Solo albums like the other 3 members did. Though one song is original. The project is called Solar Emotion or Solar Sensitivity in english and Solar delievers emotion. Solar really does make you feel the emotion she wants you to feel and yeah the girl in the MV killed it. Other songs in this will cause tears. And during the Honey promotion, Solar did live many live performances, each in one of the outfits from this MV. This one is the last outfit where she smashes the statues, there is even a performance where they redid the newspaper dress, which was not intended because it isnt really a dress. She also did performances in the outfits from the promo clips of the song and has a different outfit for her Face album live performance video, which of course has honey on it. Solar does need to do more Solos. Her last video was on Solarsido, cover of Sk8tr boi, acoustic recorded not far from where I live actually. And Mamamoo+ has their newest song dropped today.

I think Nada Sou Sou MV represented her journey towards being an idol. She was blessed with the talent but her parents didn’t support her career at first, idk maybe for financial reasons (thus the mom in the video not being able to afford to give the child piano lessons) so she goes out independently and experiences thrills in the new things but then finds herself lost in an unfamiliar place and cries. The last part shows her going back to her mom’s workplace (we later found out that her mom used to run a chicken restaurant so this must be a reference to that) and really finding her peace. Solar the best daughter 🥺

I think that among all of the songs in the Solar Gamsung project, Nada Sou Sou has to be my favorite. I guess I'm just a sucker for this genre.

Nada Sou Sou was originally a song released by Okinawan band Begin and also Ryoko Moriyama in 1998 and made popular by Rimi Natsukawa in 2001 and in Okinawa, Nada Sou Sou translates to Great Tears are Falling. Just thought that you might want to know.
