Mamata Banerjee On New Seat-Sharing Condition For Congress: "Part Ways With Left"

In remarks that indicated that the INDIA bloc's troubles in Bengal are far from over, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee today said the Congress must part ways with the CPM if they want any tie-up with her party.
The Bengal Chief Minister also said that the Congress had rejected the Trinamool's offer for two seats during seat-sharing negotiations and now she "won't give a single seat".

Why is Bengal so under-developed given its rich land, history and heritage? It was fondly called Manchester of the East way back in 1818/1850. It had highest per capita income than Maharashtra till 1960. Today it is not even half the mark in GDP. It is neither 'Each according to Ability' nor 'Each according to Need' - Who owns the factors of production ?? Society needs to find solution to 'Hostage Diplomacy' of an unknown kind.
