Kat‘s appearance- always a pleasure 🤩👍🫶 Can’t wait to see her carving the hunk of a trunk. 😊 Thank you both, all the best. 🙏 Enjoy your day ☀️😘 Cheers 🙋♀️ Martina
Ahhh - been waiting a while for this update. I believe Kat is rapidly surpassing the Master. I'm following her path to making a hunky chunky cotoneaster as well. Great vid - a blast as always!!
I just picked the pot that katarina wanted. You do make a good point about the balance of pot size vs roots. Truthfully, it is not something I have much knowledge of and I may well be one of those people who blindly pick an oil drum to plant up my mame plant in :)
These evergreen(ish) shrubby hedging plants can take a punishing and grow back very quickly. I would definitely try ground planting one - over a tile or slab as the roots will quickly run away. Wish I had more growing space to take my own advice 😂
Thank you for that - they all have different variations of my humour...unfortunately. If you saw Lexi in the original video for this kids bonsai series you would have a bigger chuckle :)
Morning my friend, I remember you giving a tree to them, they did a credible job with them, some great advice about your Azalea I may take that advice for my small leaf Rhododendron thats just getting ready for its second flowering, that’s not nice the old one tut tut, she should be safe in doing the repot, your daughter is a head case I wonder who she takes after?. I will have to put myself through watching this video again to note down the advice my memory is very poor now.😢 that small azalea you showed looks really nice Xav. All the best my friend.
Thanks Joe - I am very interested to see how the iron works out. The first application was last week...so we shaall see. All my kids have that quirky humour. Good in very small doses - like medicine :)
Cotoneasters may thrive in the UK, but they seem fragile in the American south. Thanks for this great video. Your daughter is as witty as you are! If rainwater isn't always available in large quantities, what can you do to counteract hard water? I think it is a problem that I hadn't noticed for my plants until our weather got so hot.
It really is a big issue as soon as you have limited water supplies or lots of trees to water. Soemtimes you just have to deal as best you can with what you've got :)
