This what surprises me,How did Chiefs become such a big brand when they were all formed in 1970...And till this day they still have 57 fans...Doesn't make sense,What Chiefs was doing that Sundowns wasn't doing?
Chiefs had money and could buy the best players than any team, win best sponsorships, afford expensive branding and marketing and influence referees as seen in the Rothmans cup. Now Downs is affording all that and winning not only Cups but continental dominance and a rapidly growing fanbase which win soon turn 57 to 57 million.
