Mamma Mia! musical live on Westend, London, 2008 cast with "I Have a Dream" (last scene). 1st understudy Charlie Bull plays the role of Sophie. Note: all material I have from this musical is the two clips I've put online here.
The film version does no justice to the stage musical version. On stage it's beautifully choreography and the musicality was fantastic......fully recommended......worth every cent/penny!!!!
The first time I saw this musical was in Las Vegas with my wife. It was so good. when we went back to Vegas last year, I can't resisted. The feel and brilliance of stage acting was fantastic. When they released the film version it had done no justice to the original musical, it became a musical comedy.
I remember seeing this when I was 15 back in '03, this was such a beautiful scene. Around that time, this whole musical re-sparked a sense of wonder for me that was lost around age 10-11.
To emanuelecodiesel, craneywatch, and Ingunius, This person is not the only one who records this show I hope you know!?! And it's not like it's the entire thing like some other people do! It's just a clip of the song is all. Get off this persons back plz!?! Oh and btw, I FREAKIN LOVED THIS SHOW! SO AWESOME!
@silenthillmaster755 there is an easy way which practices constantly in the airport. Before entering the concert hall, the person is required to remove all digital devices and give to the working personal for short storage.
Thank you for posting this clip. In June of 2008, I made my first trip to London. The very first show I saw in the West End was Mamma Mia. The night I saw it, the understudy for Sophie performed. It is possible that as you filmed this I was sitting in row C of the orchestra. I had never seen the show until that night. I was moved and enthralled by the sight of Sophie and Sky walking off into the moonlight. It is a treasured memory. Thank you for the music.
I agree with craneywatch and emanuelecodiesel.. you may have not known the implications nor cared, but I don't see why their comments are marked as spam- they're honestly telling the truth. Theatre is very different from other forms of entertainment art. Just because someone is apart of the experience, doesn't mean they can plagiarize the work by unlawfully copying it. I'm not trying to wave my finger at you, but I'm letting you know that if the company decides, they might sue you.
@craneywatch Hahaha if you are gonna tell this person off, you have to go around and tell EVERY SINGLE PERSON that EVER filmed in a theatre, thats alot, becuase theres atleast 1 camera at every show...
I personally think it's actually unfair that we are not allowed to record even just some few minutes of the show.. like seriously, we paid good money!!! And we want to relive the moment!!!
Mosymuis, you did really nasty thing by unlawfully recording this show. People worked very hard to make it and you just took it that easily. Where is your dignity, where is your respect, where is your conciense, little thief? I hope you regret before getting punishment above for that.
