Mammoet’s JS 500 push-up system is an efficient, safe, and cost-effective method for lifting heavy and oversized objects. This compact, modular system consists of a minimum of four jacking columns that raise an object by pushing it up. Equipped with sensors and monitored by means of specialized software, they provide a stable and controlled jacking operation.
This clip shows how the push-up system works. Each of the units consists of a modular column that hydraulically raises the object in small strokes. After each stroke, a new box is slid underneath; the load is then lowered onto the new box, which is bolted to the set of boxes above. This process is repeated until the object reaches the desired height.
