Apparently GoPros aren't allowed for AMA races anymore but some how got away with it for one moto 😋 raced pro because intermediate entries never opened and wasn't going to stoop down and sandbag novice so I took my butt kicking in the pro class which was stacked and got 31st.. not the full moto cruised the 2nd half of the race just barely missed the pile up in the first turn and tired out pretty quick the altitude and heat really got to me this weekend along with the track being typical Mammoth brutal rough.
2nd day rode a lot better

The first turn crash was knarly, did that no 7 blow his tyre out on the other dudes foot peg? Edit: Obviously not as he came by you. That track looks awesome.

Ya I saw it coming a mile away i peaked over to my right and it always happens at Mammoth when the guys on the way inside get a good start never fails they collide with the guys coming from the outside lol

Now that's what a MX track should look like! Flowing and natural terrain without all the ridiculous steep faced doubles, triples and tabletops.

They were watering a lot actually because it was so hot and not sure if you have been there or not but track is slicker than it looks and a lot of spots big rocks and hard pack spots were coming up from under once the loamy stuff got pushed aside lol

How do you find out where the qualifying races are to race there?

You technically don't have to run those races but the risk is like what happened to me intermediate filled up during the qualifiers so I had to race pro...it's called road to mammoth qualifiers though they usually start in January I believe and all in California
