This is EXACTLY what happened with the three MIch State Univ kids that were murdered last February. The killer was up on a felony gun charge in 2019 but the woke DA, Carol Siemon, allowed him to plead down to a misdemeanor and he was let go. Had that gun law been enforced, he would've been in prison and would not have killed those three innocent kids. Those kids should be in school studying for exams right this minute instead of being dead. So, what did the Michigan governor and Democratic legislature do? They just the other day passed more gun laws not one of which would have prevented the Mich State Univ killings! We don't need more gun laws until we enforce the ones we have! Why is this so difficult to understand?!!

Show a photo of the Judge, identify the judge. Don't just name her. People like her should be identified and known to the public, just like the perps are shown in arrest photos. The public needs to know who she is, so she can resign due to dangerous incompetence which in a judge represents a menace to society.

I have one 25 year old violent conviction originally a felony but reduced to a misdemeanor. I think it was pretty clear if I messed up at all I was going to prison or at least the felony would stand. So I took it as my one opportunity not to be a felon. ONE chance should be given, but this case is ridiculous.

Victim's family members should visit Judge's home, church, kid's school, restaurants, and every places Judge's family goes to.

Fortunately we will all need to carry our guns in Florida. I guess having 15 black holidays and historic months didn't work.

We have a large prison population which is problematic but it was due to draconian sentences, mandatory minimums & an excess of non-violent drug offenders in on petty crimes but lengthy sentences. Guys were thrown into jail for petty weed crimes many of which were for use & possession for personal use. For hard drugs their sentences were harsh. Now these are users and addicts, not violent criminals. Now we have an issue with private prisons profiting off of prisoners which is unethical and should be illegal. Drug users were getting locked up as long as or longer than pedophiles or violent offenders. Now non-violent criminals and drug users/addicts need things like diversion programs and prison alternatives. Large quantity drug dealers doesn’t count. So to alleviate the overpopulated prisons they started doing things like “restorative justice” and knocking down crimes or even dismissing them. During covid they were even more lenient and dismissive. However this type of adjudication should be reserved for petty crimes and non-violent offenses like drug use. They’ve applied it even to violent offenders which is nonsensical, arguably unethical, and dangerous. They’re shirking their sworn oaths to protect the population as upholders of the law and constitution. What they’re doing is actually contrary to the law as public safety is a basic foundational pillar of a democracy’s law and order. It’s freaking insane. In addition, through these moronic law enforcement actions or inactions they’re spitting in the face of victims and making criminals a privileged class. Now obviously drug addicts need help as its a medical issue and not a legal issue. They’ve done mental gymnastics in a way equating violent criminals as victims due ti poverty and lack of opportunity. However these criminals who’ve been given a chance or multiple chances don’t capitalize on it or even appreciate it. They smugly brag about their implicit impunity and continue doing violent crimes. It’s not a tough lesson but a slap on the wrist which is just a cue to them to keep doing crime and even escalating their crimes. It’s insane. We’ve totally dismissed responsibility and accountability in the legal system with crimes, criminals and punishment. Prison is their for punishment, separating dangerous criminals for society and deterrence. The criminals know they basically have carte blanche with these delusion and quixotic activist judges, DAs, etc. we have activists going into serious and vital professions like lawyers, teachers, etc who are activists first and their profession second. It’s detrimental to our society. Sadly the crime bill of 1994 was a hysterical overreaction. This is the inverse. They locked up too many for too long many for petty or minor crimes. Now it’s the opposite. They are being way too lenient but also they’re giving implicit permission for criminals to commit crimes and even tacit approval to reoffend to their heart’s content. This is way worse. It is going to have catastrophic consequences. It’s sad and tragic when the law and prison sentences are overzealous, excessive and draconian. In this situation it’s the prisoners and the families who are punished and suffer. However for bad violent criminals this is just and the point of punishment. Now criminals are a protected class ostensibly. Victims are treated like second class citizens. However this is a cycle that spirals. Crime starts raging and escalating. Neighborhoods are destroyed. Businesses close. Neighborhoods become food deserts. People lose their jobs. People flee and tax revenues go down. It all spirals. Quality of life is degraded severely. These out of touch and misguided pols say not to demonize the teens and to give criminals second chances. They say that there are no opportunities and blame companies like Walmart for leaving. Most of it is due to crime! They think it’s bad now but it’s going to get worse. How can Chicago vote for an even crazier mayor. Sadly some cities might have to hit rock bottom until they learn. It looks like its rock bottom now but I suppose it can get worse. The sad part is that many will be traumatized and even die because of these insane policies. A lot of these crimes could be prevented with proactive law enforcement but instead they keep giving chance after chance. How many times have we seen repeat offenders out on bail or probation committing an even more serious crime? The criminals are laughing and know they can get away with stuff. Many have even admitted it to the news or bragged about it. This is helping no one. I’m all for second chances but this is going to be catastrophic and monumentally bad. Again, the problem is that these idiot pols and civil servants will have blood on their hands. Many will suffer and even die due to the effects of thee moronic policies. To those that didn’t vote for it, I fee sorry for you. You want to say that those that voted for it deserve it and while this is true, I don’t think many understand as the cognitive dissonance and gaslighting is real. This is an experiment that they think will work. It’s going to blow up in their face but they won’t be held accountable but they should be. I feel bad for all those who will suffer from these horrid policies. I left Brooklyn and returned to the Long Island suburbs because I am done with the city. I’m a New Yorker and Yankee to the bone but I might end up leaving NY altogether. Getting tired of these clowns & NY has some of the worst politicians in the country which is saying something. Hochul, Schumer, Nadler, AOC & Adams are pathetic, ineffectual and absolute clowns.

This is part of the reason I left U.S. a few years ago 4 men came in my house and tried to attack me and my cousin.we fought of the one and we almost got charged with battery.I know live in Korea and the crime is slimmer here.
