I'm a truck driver. I was in the Florence KY (just south of Cincinnati) area a few months ago and came across a guy pouring a small bucket of nails at an intersection near Walmart. I got part of his license plate and complete description. I dialed 911 to report it, but the 911 operator didn't seem too concerned. I followed the guy for a few minutes and called back to update 911 of his location, but the lady seemed agitated that I was "so concerned." I couldn't believe #1 that someone had such a worthless life to do something like that, and #2 the police didn't seem to care.
She was probably like that because 911 is not for reporting simple things like that. It’s for life saving emergencies. You should have called the local police department instead or even state police.
@@F150customs Someone is deliberately creating a safety hazard on public roads. How is that not a life threatening emergency? All it takes is one bad blowout for a serious accident.
@@F150customs It takes all of a few seconds to transfer someone to a local precinct, DOT or any other emergency personnel. Whenever I've called and they weren't equipped to deal with something right there in their power, it's never been an issue to transfer me to the appropriate channel. By just blowing stuff off, the operator is just wasting time. If it came back that someone had a blowout that caused major property damage, injury or a fatality and not only was it preventable, but the initial report was blown off, do you think that dispatcher would still have a job? Absolutely not.
@@SandorVitez Not sure where this happened but a pound of nails in California is like $50 so 350 pounds of nails out here would cost like $20,000 and the economy isn't that different when you leave California, no matter who tries to tell you it is LOL this guy definitely has money...somehow 😂
Its not only the economic damage to the victims and environmental damage of all those wasted tires but also a safety concern. Modern cars drive surprisingly well on a flat tire and with the radio blasting you may not notice it at all until that tire shreds and the driver loses control. It would only take one out of control car to kill someone and then this guy would be facing a murder charge. He should not only be charged with the vandalism and force to pay restitution to victims but also charged with reckless endangerment on every victim and go away for life.
That's some true sociopath behavior. Someone once threw limestone boulders on the highway one night, I was doing paper delivery, myself and another vehicle hit them. It was terrible, destroying our cars. They were absolutely placed on the road and did not accidentally fall out. People are psycho.
Many years ago in my blue state, a state prosecutor's son throw a bowling ball off a highway overpass that resulted with the death of a passing motorist/passenger.
the guy is not a sociopath... he is just a low level worker... someone is financing that $1600 worth of nails. dude can't even afford a hair cut, just look at the mess on his head... I believe someone was paying him to engage in this activity... a good set of tires for just ONE car will cost you 800 (1200 for a truck)... even cheap tires are going to cost you about 500 a set (mounted and balanced)... cops should have kept their mouth shut about colored nails and began looking at repair shops promoting flat tire deals/repair
Only a sociopath would go out of their way to deliberately damage random peoples’ tires and make their lives difficult for no reason at all. This worthless pos needs to be in prison for a long time.
🐕💚🍕 there are professional people who act the same way health care is rife with sickos saving the world from itself 🤠 dogs like pizza 🐻 trumpy bear and kellyanne 🇺🇸
Either a sociopath or a psychopath. Would need proper diagnosis. Either way, it's not like he should be let out on bail and probably not out of jail, either.
Lol your statement about criminals running the world juxtaposed with your avatar is peak irony. Oh, don't you worry, honey. I don't expect for a moment that your NPC brain will see the irony.
Shouldn't have closed all those mental institutions. Unless this guy is running a tyre shop or got paid off by tyre shops, then it's some sort of mental problem.
Correct. My state closed all its state run hospitals and shifted responsibilities to local governments. And that seemed to correspond with increasing homelessness on our streets.
In the early 1900's that led to patient neglect + abuse, SA and let's not forget *FORCED LOBOTOMIES* for treatable conditions like schizophrenia and OCD.
People are hurting. Just trying to get to work, struggling families, single mothers, trying to keep up. Gas & electric bills, sky high groceries, gas prices, car repairs, people are falling behind already and this a**hole is deliberately flattening people's tires?. He needs to go to prison for years not just days.
@@Desertfox14No nails, no screws, no sharp objects, no no fresh fruit (nobody in the U.S. is trained against fresh fruit attacks), no leaf blowers, no bazookas, no Fix-a-Flat no tire irons, no scissors (he doesn't use them anyway), etc.
Another Black criminal caught. He could have caused the death of some innocent people, children. He's been caught twice doing this. How many other times has he done this over the years? Will he get prison time?
What a creep! I remember my Mom, a single parent of four, sobbing for all she was worth after having her tires slashed while she was working. Tires are a major expense, and her car was her only way to work. I hope they find a really serious way to punish him!
You think this guy is one of those tree hugging ecoterrorists, with some sort of weird dirt worshiping environmentalist pagan religion? We've got those around here; spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of public money to make bike lanes that we don't need, so that there aren't places to park our cars.
This is not just vandalism, its attempted murder, and he should not be allowed to bond out. People could've been seriously injured or died as a result of his psychotic behavior, he should be in prison for life. The fact he did this multiple times and was previously convicted for the very same thing says all we need to know. People like this cannot function in society.
Who the hell can afford $1600 for nails and not do something constructive. He won't stop. He doesn't deserve freedom or the free room and food from jail.
@@joefer5360 Lazy effers. Maybe prisons should start charging inmates for meals then. Don't pay, don't eat. Why should some pos get free room AND board for breaking the law?
@@Timedelayedfuse No, it isn't. But to let your pride justify indentured servitude, debtor's prisons, and slavery shows your sinfulness. Live for a nation by God.
@joefer5360 My pride? Listen to your holier than thou bullshit. If someone's reckless behavior results in a loss of property the person responsible should handle expenses. "Indentured servitude and slavery " you're so full of yourself.
1:52 the arrow isn't showing where the nail was in the tire it's marking the valve stem so they can put it back on the rim in the same spot and not have to balance it again.
Why people why? We had a guy doing that but he went all out and made nail caltrops. We were in a rural neighborhood where most of us knew each other. He did it before we moved there and then when we were there. All four tires ended up either being repaired or toast multiple multiple times. The last time just before we moved we got a flat- took it to our tire place and the guy said "Well he outdid himself this time there's 3 caltrops embedded." Over that two years we also had random sharp, shaped pieces of metal embedded as well. It was a dangerous skinny road where if you blew a tire you wouldn't be able to safely react given the drop offs and bluffs butted up to the road, including an epic S curve. If you ask me these guys should be charged with attempted murder. To the cops who went way above their job, thinking of that solution, I salute you!
yep some lads will do a little job on him for his handywork with the nails ,, in my city they would nail him to a wooden floor or pallet and they wouldnt think twice about it belive me and they will be using 4-6 inch nails
*No, I think he's in cahoots with a few tire companies. That's explains why he was going to different areas. Wouldn't surprise me if he's working with a few Tow companies as well. Who has more than 1 spare tires if you get a flat? And Tow companies are very well known for being shady.*
If he's a danger to himself or others why is he not Held for psychiatric evaluations. Throwing nails out on the road where someone could get in an accident is a danger to others.
Is he a psychopath or sociopath? *Psychopath:* behavior that conflicts with social norms. disregarding or violating the rights of others. inability to distinguish between right and wrong. difficulty with showing remorse or empathy. tendency to lie often. manipulating and hurting others. recurring problems with the law. *Sociopath:* Lack of empathy for others. Impulsive behavior. Attempting to control others with threats or aggression. Using intelligence, charm, or charisma to manipulate others. Not learning from mistakes or punishment. Lying for personal gain. Showing a tendency toward physical violence and fights.
I live in a pretty bad area in Florida. On the main road there is literally 6 or 7 small tire shops less than a mile apart. We got hit by hurricane Ian so most businesses were down for a month plus. The first few weeks after the hurricane not one nail in my tires. When businesses opened back up literally every tire had numerous nails in them. Went to one of the small shops to get new tires. A week later the same thing happened and my vehicle got broke into left on the side of the road because I used the spare and all the tires were flat. $10k worth of my tools were stolen. No doubt in my mind those tire shops had something to do with it
@@OldHatefulCracka-zo6sm or the tire shop paid him. You gotta spend money to make money.

Know a guy with a tire repair shop.. had a tire with a nail in it, I said there are a lot of nails out there in the street these days... he joked, "I know I put them there to get customers, and they bring back my nails too which I use again" ...I know he was joking as hes a stand up guy but then I thought I better keep an eye on him just in case...
When I was a kid in a small farm town (40+ years ago) we had someone doing the same thing. Turns out it was the tow-truck driver that serviced the area!
Domestic terrorism, attempted murder, whatever law oversees booby traps, dozens of counts of destruction of property, hundreds if not thousands of charges of attempted destruction of property and littering, he represents a clear and active menace to the community and should have been denied bail.
What was that definition of insanity again? Something about arresting the same individual then releasing him time and time again for the same crime, then expecting that the person is going to change his behavior. Similar to the SovCit that keeps getting citations for driving without a license or license plate time and time again. Make me wonder who the REAL idiots are 🤔
Possibly related to someone who had a tire shop. People have to serve time in order to learn. If he dropped nails in areas where judges live and judges kept getting flat tires then maybe they would keep him locked up for awhile
@@billking1751 the look on his face says f me, and f everybody else. We dont need menacing people like that screwing up everyone's day just because. There is no motive behind his bs.
Why isn't this guy going to prison? Vandalism with costs exceeding $10k dollars in damage each time. Whoever the DA is needs to be removed, replaced, and get somebody who will uphold our laws and punish the guilty and protect the innocent. Same for any Judges giving this guy bond to walk free after being arrested. People lose jobs, kids miss school and tests, and nobody cares that you got flat tires because someone who hates life threw thousands of nails on roadways to ruin people's lives.
Give him as many hours community service as it would take to pay for all the flats he caused with minimum wage. Make him do all his community hours changing tires for no pay.
I bet a local tire shop paid him to do it and covered the cost of the nails. When you see a "senseless" crime like this, follow the money and look at who stands the gain the most.
Given the cost of tire replacement, towing in some cases, this vandalism can amount to Thousands of Dollars, time for a serious felony prosecution, and some serious jail time. The prosecutors should be canvassing the community for victims and getting from them exactly what their costs were, so they can present that evidence to the judge. This is not a guy who should be walking the streets, a nail in a car tire is no joke, especially at high speeds.
honestly highly likely... some tire shops / mechanics have become extremely dishonest in the last few years (granted they were never saints).. they will charge you full price for a new part for your car, but instead of ordering a brand new BMW bumper (for example), they will hire kids from an underprivileged area to steal one from someone else.... effectively putting childrens and random civilians lives at risk to make a few hundred dollars.
I used to work at a marina. My boss had us catch floating dead head pieces of tree logs that were clogging up his marina and float them suckers back to the main river. We had more business fixing boats after that.
One time driving to a job I heard my bucket of 20 penny nails (big boys) fall out while going up this mountain rd. I got out and spent like 40 minutes picking every last one up, trying to slow down cars so they didnt run one over lol... I have to ask what a grown man is spending money to sabotage random peoples tires? Not to mention if you have that kind of time chances are he is getting unemployment or disability or taking advantage of the system somehow.
