The driver didn't die, there was no death. The title is just clickbait. Trust me, if the drivers life was seriously in danger there would have been a whole lot more freaking out from the stands, the safety personnel put the fire out before it could kill anyone.
@@brent4078 I'll reason why I thought it was a nitro blowout, because if it was alcohol or anything else it would have been a lot worse but either way nobody wants this to happen no matter what you're running
I think we need to be a bit careful when going after the veracity of the description on our high-horses when in fact we pressed play on a title expecting to see a man burn to death...
James: "I got a new one to put up that people will hate." Proceeds to put up a video that misleads the entire situation and doesn't understand why people hate being lied to. fun video though
Do you feel bad for the driver tho, that is the main thing, in situations like this, you should just worry about the driver, a wise man told me that you can revive a dead car, but you can't revive a dead body
@@Manni410 Oh no, I never care about the driver---he's just some dude I never knew. And I'll remind you that they don't make Novas anymore....it's not like you can buy a new one, once they're gone they're gone forever
@@justsumguy2u But the driver is what to mainly worry though if you think about it, I do understand what you are saying, yes it is super hard to get a Nova, and if it bursts into flames, then that would be having to either just leave it burnt or fix it, however for the driver, if you lose the driver, you lose the driver, and that is it, the driver would be dead and that problem would be unfixable wouldn't it? Although on the other hand, the car will still be there as in it will still be a thing, once you know that the driver is ok or not and fully out of the vehicle, then yeah, you can worry about the car, but mainly the driver is more important either way, if you disagree then that is fine
Everyone is hating because he didn’t die but your the one who clicked on this video because you wanted to see him die everyone should be happy he is alive and well that would be a horrible way to go
Nice! Yeah same with me...as soon as i started watching the video the place looked familiar. I used to go there in middle and high school cause my dad drag raced; he had a dragster for 5 years. Love that place
@@kittycat5919 nice, what did the dragster look like? We had the 67 GTO with the big blower hanging out of the hood with flames and a pretty crazy paint job, last name Stewart
@@DSRE535it was a red and pink front engine dragster. It was one of those smaller type of dragsters, you know, so not like the ones you see at major races. You know what im talking about im sure. So he raced in woodburn during the 2nd half of the 90's. I wonder if you guys were there the same timeframe. I don't recognize the car you guys have (or had?) or the name. I've seen a lot of different cars at woodburn over the years. If i saw a picture i might recognize the car you're talking about.
@@kittycat5919 that’s exactly the timeframe that I was there but our car was teal green with purple and blue stripe on the side of it at that time your dad’s car does sound familiar, I wouldn’t be surprised if I knew it right away if I saw a picture, that’s pretty cool its a small world!
@@DSRE535 Oh wow you replied fast! Oh nice yeah i wonder if you would recognize it. Not totally sure if i have a picture somewhere tho. That's cool you were there during the same time. After he stopped racing i have gone back to woodburn over the years. Not every single year but here and there you know. Like last year i went to the races 3 times. This year i didn't get to go at all. Sounds like you went to woodburn a lot more than me. We really only went to the races whenever they had dragsters involved and other really fast cars cause they didn't seem to have a whole lot of races in which they had those cars race. Just like how it is now....there seems to be only a hand full of races that involve really fast cars. Otherwise if woodburn had more of those races going on then we probably would've been there more. Since you were there during that same time then im sure you had to have seen my dads dragster. Just like how im sure i saw the car you guys had. That's cool that the dragster sounds familiar to you.
@vincewilliams5219 Holy shit!! This is the comment I was looking for cause when I first started watching this video I was like "wait this looks like Woodburn dragstrip." Doesn't say in the description where this is at so thought I would see if anybody mentioned in the comments where this was at. Wow ive been to Woodburn dragstrip several times over the years but I've never seen a racecar on fire.
@vincewilliams5219 Hell yeah me too...love that shit. Pisses me off that I didn't get to go at all this year. Went 3 times last year. My dad used to have a dragster a long time ago so that's how I got into it. I just love being around those fast cars there such as the dragsters, funny cars and jet cars. Love the sound of them...best sound ever. Shit is so cool and such a rush. And I like being at the Woodburn dragstrip also. 😃
@@kittycat5919 Yep, I love the Gassers, and the way your whole body shakes when the 4 second cars go by, makes your teeth rattle. What did your Dad have?
@vincewilliams5219 Oh yeah that's right those do make you practically shake as they drive by cause it's so much power. It's such a rush tho and just exciting to watch the really fast cars. I love that kind of power. So my dad had a front engine dragster...it was one of those smaller type of dragsters. Not sure about actual details about it so don't know anything else past that. Fastest speed was pretty much 200mph. He raced for like 5 years...we mostly went to Woodburn.
Wow they are literally making fun of someone that they dont know if they are being burned alive or not and making fun of a lofe threatenj g explosion and fire. I hope yall get what ks coming to you for making fun and joking about a guy who almost was burned alive that day but luckily he survived and wasnt burned alive.
