@@JiTiAr35 I get that Foden played more centrally in this game to Robben (who was usually playing on the wing), but my comment is based purely on his dribbling ability and his ability to change direction so quickly, which, IMO, is reminiscent of Arjen Robben, who himself had elite level ball control.

I really don't want Haaland to think that he has to score to prove himself. He is already a goat in our eyes. If he gets caught up in all this "I wanna prove I don't need others to score" mentality, he will only miss out on many goals and opportunities, and mainly the team will suffer. @@didacomps Interesting take! There is no denying that KDB helped Haaland so much. But you can't take away Haaland's sense of scoring from him. He just knows where to be, when to be and how to finish it. And you can't get that from a normal player.

But the guy is only 23yo ffs. But given the things he has accomplished, people expect waaaay more from him. Give him some time under Pep, and you will see what kind of monster he will become. Foden! I'm not Man City fan and I usually say that many English players are overrated, but Foden is certainly not, he is becoming one of my favourite players, great footballer. Kova does exactly what Pep expects him to, and Gvardiol is a true world class. I'm from Croatia, you brought two great players and lads, we have some friends in common, these boys are going to prove why croatian mentality and football work so well together. It's very important for the team spirit, these guys fit. Because of them I started to watch City more. Alvarez, Rodri, Haaland, so many fantastic players. I don't see how City is not going to be on top again with this team, class and as far as I see good team spirit.

1:21 Alvarez already know wheres is Kyle, touches to Rodri and know that the pass is going to be to the left wing, when the ball goes to Rodri again, Alvarez goes out to look for the ball, knowing that Walker is going to project himself down the right flank and carries two defenders out of the area...he is a very intelligent player, who understands the whole game. He's more than a Striker.

City has this ability to nullify teams, making them non-existent on the football pitch, to think that this Newcastle side is the one that thrashed Villa 5-1,you wouldn't say. And Foden is exceptional when he's given the role to roam around freely.

This isn't much of an excuse but I've noticed that most of Haaland's misses are are because he aims for the corners of the net which is actually a good thing. Even his missed penalties are rarely gettable for the keeper
