Bringing the daily mourinho news to the Irish guy Jose was at the roma stadium yesterday for an interview about his season. After the interview as he was leaving a kid in the stands said "Hey jose. Can you say hi to my classmates via phone" Jose said "Sure. What class are you in? Give me the phone" The kid said he was year 7 ans jose said "Hello to all the roma fans in the year 7 class. Lazio fans get lost" a threw back the phone then left 😂
Kalvin didn't walk out on Leeds when we went down. He kept us up after boosting his value at the Euros, made us nearly £50 mil, then it was Victor Orta spending that on quitters that sent us down. If City got relegated and we got promoted this season I'd like to think he'd return to Elland Road for some much needed PL experience in our midfield
Not really. People usually City fans, always point to the UEFA charges that did not stick and were dismissed by the CAS. This was done because they had a time limit on charges and most of the charges filed were beyond that limit. That’s what the CAS ruled. However, the EPL does not have that rule and charges can be filed for offences years ago. That’s why City are panicking now, they know they are in real trouble.
@@RDASoccerI could be wrong, but can they not just take it to the courts? I'm unsure, as I'm not British. If they can, I think we both know the only way to make sure this isn't swept under the rug is for the owners to decide defending the charges isn't worth it. Also, I can't imagine the british government would want to lose all their investment in Manchester. Again, I could be wrong.
I doubt it will be more than that, they wont deduct 1150 pts like everyone says because thats just outrageous 😂😂. Worse case scenario is relegation to the championship which in all honesty ain’t that bad. On the bright side it will show the real fans from the plastic and finally eliminate the idea we don’t have fans, cus we will dominate every away end in the championship
@@CitehFan1894I genuinely think it could be League one because 115 charges is not a 'lite' breach of breaking laws in terms of going down, but I reckon they'd just Fine City and give them a transfer ban for like 2 years or something the EPL ain't got the balls too seriously punish Man City
@@CitehFan1894 115 charges, some of which are linked to paying off refs and officials. either you get a small fine or a league 2 spot mate (also, ticket sales say you have no fans mate)
@@CitehFan1894I wreckon because of the amount of charges it could be a rangers type thing where youse will go to league 2 or the national League would love that then Chelsea in league two and spurs and Everton battling for the championship title 🤣
@@MorrisseyMuse Take away the opposition for Liverpool and they might stand a chance of winning the EPL... Just need to fine Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton then they're odds on to win it.
Tbh, besides phil foden, i agree with everything he said, I reckon kyle walker, ederson, foden, rico lewis, oscar bobb and Kdb all stay. Everyone else leaves
I agree in thinking, that Foden would stay, if the relegation would be to the Championship only. It'd be a great chance for him to finally become basically the first name in the starting 11
Bold to think that Man City could actually get ANY punishment, let alone relegation. They'll stay just where they are and they will accumulate another hundred charges in the next three years while being "the best team in the world".
I think all Villa fans want Jack back. He did a lot for our club and the state we were in he had to look at his career and the opportunity he got was insane
If there’s one guy who’d go down with them I actually would back it to be Phil Foden Tbh if they only go down to the championship most of them will probably stay they’ll come back up immediately
@@HaalandNorwaynah doesnt matter if his dad was a united fan. Phil is a livelong city fan that guy bleeds skyblue. i would also back him more than lewis to stay with us for relegation
@@notaltaisygo for lewis though it would be like a loan to championship than right back to prem. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal for him. Meanwhile foden champions league quailty would leave I mean look at sancho city lad left for dortmund than unit
Really enjoyed this video! Especially Ake being back with Eddie! Could live with being an honorary Newcastle fan if that happened. ( after all I am a Bournemouth fan mostly because of Ake)
I am not to sure about Bernardo to Barca yes he supposedly has clause but they don’t have best finances and according to video have someone already. Silva has said he wants to return to Benfica while still useful
Seriously? Akanji? Joe Gomez replacement? No. Heck, I'd even take Andersen from Palace to Liverpool. Gvardiol to Liverpool would be a more sensible option for me. He's been a Liverpool fan and he's said it to the freakin press. Taking in a top class player like him and him fulfilling his Liverpool dream would be a match made in heaven. If money isn't the case, then Liverpool's the most obvious choice for him.
@@tinodaperson7174 they are being investigated for something that happened 16 years ago because Defore didn't have a registered agent People are talking about relegation but it will most likely be a points deduction
Good video. Don't agree with Foden but think you did very well with your predictions eventhough I feel city would be relegated more than once if they are actually punished this time by the FA
The biggest take away from these pending charges is how City is reacting to them. With the UEFA charges they were defiant and laughed them off because they knew due to the time limit to file charges was breached they would get off, however just listen to what Pep is saying publicly now. He’s saying wherever they play next season he will still be there. City knows they are in big, big trouble this time…..
I tried my best to build a Starting XI (Transfer ban): (Formation: 5-4-1) GK:Ederson RB:Walker CB:Sergio Gomez CB:Josh Wilson-Esbrand CB:Maximo Perrone LB:Rico Lewis CDM:Kalvin Phillips CDM:Micah Hamilton (Academy) CAM:James Mcatee CAM:Kevin De Bruyne CF:Oscar Bobb (Some loanees came back)
It'll be funny if they were kicked out of the Football League altogether. Also, who and how many would leave I think would hinge more on whether Pep himself is going to stay.
What is funny City could get relegated to National League and still play in Champions League if they win it this year. If City would get relegated few divisions I still see them winning FA Cup and League Cup and getting European football.
True, but Grealish has more chance of rejoining villa on loan than actually moving to another club cause no doubt that City would want that 100 mil back one way or another And it was made clear in some news thing that Emery would not take Grealish back (not a trusted source but, based on many fans too)
I am willing to compromise. Rather than a straight relegation to the national league north, I propose a lighter punishment. A 115 point deduction each season, for 10 seasons. 10 x 115 = 1150 so I think it is fair
Firstly remember that Everton had one serious change while City has few major ones and countless minor ones. I think the idea is that FA have a buckshot strategy - shoot at everything and hope that something will land. And some transgressions are minor enough that FA probably would not even care prosecuted other clubs for it. I am Manchester City fan so I do not want compare my club to mafia, but I think that FA has the same approach to prosecuting City like some jurisdiction have to prosecuting mafia: there are unable to prove anything major because how mafia boss is layered up and how the law as so many flaws and loophole, so they try to get them on minor things like... e.g. tax evasion. So it seems to me that FA idea is: probably everything major transgressions they did were legal due to how and laws are flawed, but there must be something we can latch on and punish them. Also just from sport perspective, 70 point penalty for few seasons would be far more interesting, because they would have to fight for life to stay in Premier League and if they would fall down staying even in Championship would not be guaranteed.
People really believe that most of these star players would be willing to take 20% wage reduction and play in championship out of loyalty. The delusion is real. Apart from Foden, why would the other players waste 2 seasons without champions league football? If the other top clubs come calling, which they will definitely do, they'll leave in a hurry.
As Manchester City fan I don't want City to get relegated, but could you imagine what a living legend Kevin De Bruyne would become if he, arguably the best player last season (I know that Messi won the Ballon d'Or, and Mbappe and Haaland were before him in the voting, but nobody have me convince me that anybody from this trio was better than KDB as footballer and had bigger impact on their team) would stay and be the man to leads the way to return to Premier League. Also, technically it is possible, that even if City would got relegated to National League, they still could play in Europe. It would be hilarious if City won this year Champions League (hence got automatic qualification to next year Champions League) and got relegated to National League. :P
@@tony3290 i absolutely agree, but he keeps his head and and keeps fighting for it. He even started 4 out of the last 6 world cup qualification matches
KDB, Phil Foden and Rico Lewis came to Manchester City before Guardiola. And there many more players who joined City before Guardiola, but many of them ended their careers already due to how long Guardiola already is at the Etihad Stadium.
I think city if relegated could make some loan deals for haaland and foden to balance their wages cost for championship year and have them when promoted again.
I think relegation would be a dumb punishment only because guardiola and the players they have are millions of miles ahead of any championship team that they would destroy the league. Honestly staying up and basically crippling there finances makes more sense . i will also say that guardiola not long for city anyway just because he will probably want to bring glory to spain and swear spain doesnt sack whatever manager for him in a instant
City's not going down. So much oil money, across the board, would leave the Prem. I don't think they're brave enough. If they did go down, the biggest question is where would Pep go?
If it's just to the Championship then it is one year and then they are back. If City is okay with still paying their wages, then most of them would most likely stay.
You keep mentioning The Championship. That's best case scenario if they get relegated, probably what Chelsea will get given that they are co-operating with the investigation & not obstructing it at every turn. Given the amount of charges they'll get Rangersed & end up in League 2 assuming they don't get suspended from the league for a year or 2 in which case they'll come back at the bottom. Of course they have to be found guilty first.
One charge = 10 points, right? So if City ends up with 100 charges should they take a 1000 point deduction this year and drop down like 10 levels or should they just take 100 points over the next 10 years and try their chances in the Championship?
Financing through the back door is bad but not exactly worthy of relegation. A point deduction, fine and transfer embargo is a better punishment for them.
I think it will, breaking 100ish violations is extreem. Probably gonna be a statement, just like Everton. If even half of the 100 violations are uncontested I could see them even in the 3th tier. Gonna be a political game as well.
Points deduction will be the least of their problems if they are found guilty. Even if they are found guilty for half of the charges, they'll be looking at 4th tier at best and potentially be stripped of the league trophies they won between 2009-2018.
Let's be honest 90% of the city squad are their for money and trophies, with juve a lot of that squad actually supported the club, I doubt pep would even stay in the championship and everyone who could would move out
I don't think that City relegation would be a worthy punishment after so many years of success built on corruption. A 5 year transfer ban would hurt them much more.
They could just do Chelsea 2.0 and considering that Man City already introducing many youth academy already, it would not affecting them too much either way
If City went down they would secure promotion to the PL by December. Then Man City can send their players on a long holiday so that they can be fresh for the new season
Why would those guys just not stay for one season in the championship and smash every single record possible Erling Holland would score at least 50 to 60 goals
For what they did to Everton - City should cease to exist as a club and be sold to someone else like Chelsea and Roman were forced to. Relegation to the 3rd division would still be unfair to all the teams they stomped because of their cheating and scandals for 15 years.
I doubt an FFP violation from years ago will actually be possible due to Man City's relevance in the Prem. Imagine having Man United as the only representation from Manchester? 😂 no one would watch the league anymore
Newcastle are the only representative of Newcastle. Aston Villa the only representative of the second largest city. Neither Bristol teams are in the PL. No Welsh teams either.
I honestly don’t think they’d relegate Man City No they’d go for a club nearly as big. A bluer club. A club down south… Chelsea back to the Championship 😂😂 (FR though they would send down Chelsea before Man City)
