Best defence against the best attack.Master vs apprentice, will be a great match.,hopefully.I have a feeling that Doku and Sterling will shine, respectively.
It's hilarious these people keep saying Arsenal didn't go there to win, did they not see the counters in the second half that were better chances to score than anything City did the entire match? If they connect on one of those they cruise to a win because they shut down MC completely. City pundits just pissed Arsenal didn't play wide open and allow City to pass through them.
Normally I'd want to win but we have to be strategic and understand the context. Arsenal are at the end of an insane week of 3 tough away games: NLD, CL at Atalanta and then City! Probably one of the toughest weeks for any team in Europe in the whole season! In that context, of course a draw is a great result.
U are also wrong if arsenal had beat city twice that hits their psyche their mindset that kills confidence when a team starts doubting themselves they drop points luk at Liv last season they get embarrassed by arsenal they drop more points football is also played in the mindset u kill the confidence u win
By your logic, if Arsenal went for the draw at the Etihad like the pundits are asserting here, and got it... then it should have helped their psyche and mindset and they should have gone on to win the league. Remember they took 4 points off City and 4 points off City was just enough. The result at the Etihad had no bearing on Arsenal losing to Aston Villa. The 2-0 loss to Villa at the Emirates is where Arsenal lost last year's championship and not at the Etihad. @@ashleymoyo3187
I don't know why these guys always think this way. My theory is that they don't like Arsenal and want Arteta to be naive and go out blazing and take a hiding, (for their pleasure). 4 points off Coty is PERFECT!
So Arsenal went for the draw at the Etihad last season and got it. City wanted to win but couldn't... so which was the better team on the day? They're all here yapping that Arsenal were happy with the draw forgetting that Arsenal took 4 points from City out of the possible six. Very lazy punditry.
