Wow--This wonderful man has made a committment in taking care of this stork for 25 yrs..And its so sweet how the male stork returns to see his female stork and the human family..a lovely story.
@Mookie Spindlehurst "What you believe or don't believe is of no interest to me" arrogant. no one cared in the first place for your unfathomable opinion so 👋👋👋
@Mookie Spindlehurst Your opinion of "nature does nothing" is of no interest to me too. Nobody asked for it, therefore why wasn't I able to voice mine? :)
@Mookie Spindlehurst I legit just said 6 words, not trying to be offensive or anything. Pull the stick out your ass Also if my opinion was of no interest to you, why did you reply?
I am in awe of your ability every year to withstand the anxiety of waiting for male to return. It is like waiting and hoping for a son to make back through a mine field with snipers and not able know the time or route until the son opens the door. You go through this year after year. As a mom myself, I can understand that internal feeling of dread and hope.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I'd be too worried to stay calm while waiting, thinking the absolute worst n' praying. Prob break down when he shows up. I'd be mostly nervous for her. I want her husband to return to her safely.
Yeah. Klepatan might be hunted by one of the locals in Africa one day, it's a growing problem. Some storks actually stopped flying away for the winter as they feel safer in Europe. In my culture it has always been considered an evil act to harm a stork as they were symbols of fertility and spring.
This is one of the most beautiful and meaningful stories on the Dodo, and that is saying A LOT as there are THOUSANDS of incredible stories. Dodo, you never cease to amaze! Well done.
@@simsisimsi3233 that is very sad. Thanks for the post but I wonder how he knows Klepetan died. Maybe he just didn't show up. Maybe he made a new girlfriend who was closer. Regardless, I wish them all happiness. Maybe Klepetan will show up next year.
@@joeb4117 Hey couple weeks ago they post a good news.He is alive.Where he have been they don't know but he's not dead.Owner of this house is a really happy cuz of that
I am so glad Dodo covered this incredible story of true love and friendship. Everyone in Croatia knows about Malena and Klepetan and their amazing love story and now the people all over the world can meet them. Thank you Dodo!💗💕💖💗💕💖💗💕💖💗💕💖
I met this wonuderful man... simple, honest and warm person, just as you can see&feel in this video. One of my favorite stories from my country. Hello to all Dodo viewers from Croatia.
Hej, Slovenka !! Otkad je najlepsa Slovenka u Beloj Kuci u Vashingtonu, vi Slovenci mnoooogo neshto se pravite vazni !!! Pozdrav do sve vas i neka Bog cuva Sloveniju i njen narod !
I was soo happy when i saw that our little country got on to this very big chanel OMG soooooo happy.❤❤im from Croatia!👍❤ Thank you for all of the likes!
From Wikipedia: "On 7 July 2021, Malena died due to old age. Her death was announced by Stjepan Vokić. At the time of her death, she had been cared for by Vokić for 28 years." The Wikipedia entry further stated that Klepetan was alive a the time of Malena's passing.
Unfortunately, Malena has died today. She fell out of her nest and this beautiful man was taking care of her for 10 days, but at the end she did not survive
So sweet love ❤ You found the best stork ever, and the stork found the best man 😁 Who else loves The dodo's type of channel? 😊 I love that you make heartwaming videos, who else? 👍
The strength of a stork's bond with its mate is so incredible. With all kelepetan has to go through, he still stays with melena even though she is cared for by a human. Birds are skittish creatures, yet they both have gotten used to human interaction. Amazing!
So touching I'm crying like a baby. I'm from Poland, we love storks. We have joke about storks finding babies in the cabbage and delivering them to their parents.
Hello, I am from Eastern Panjaab. Every year birds migrate in winter season. We get a lot of birds from Russia/Siberia. Storks are one of them. Love nature mother and its members. Humanity is above all and we all are one. If one shares/spread love to anyone then he/she gets back the same without any restrictions, boundaries, race, colour. Love is above colour, race, clans, boundaries, regions and continents. Spread the love.
This man has put his whole life into saving this stork I think that is amazing, the Stork could not ask for a better carer and to get a husband Stork and baby storkss is the icing on the cake...Long life and health to all of them...
Beautiful! But, why would anyone want to harm a stork? This gentleman Stjepan is very kind and clearly a good person! All the best to you all and a safe return for Klepetan! Wishing you a very Happy and Prosperous, Peaceful Christmas.
the stork malena died, she didnt want to eat for about 20 days. her mate klepetan is still alive and looking for her. the gentleman who cared for malena is very sad but he will go on caring for klepetan ( fish, meat) if he goes on coming back. god bless him for caring for malena and taking responsibility for her well being for 28 years.
The fact that millions watch a live stream of him coming back and it looks to be shown in a city center/town square is so awesome. I absolutely love that.
This is one of the loveliest things I've ever watched. I don't think I could bring myself to watch the livestream, I would be so upset if he didn't come back.
❤I didn’t know that people poached storks. How horrible. They are beautiful. This story is amazing and this man’s dedication is beautiful. Having someone to live for is beautiful. All of those babies born to his storks have him As their grandfather. That’s a wonderful life.
Wow. This is just such a beautiful story. The man is showing such love to his charge and by doing so helped her find a mate. To have helped orchestrate nearly 50 baby storks that wouldn't have ever happened if he had let nature take her so long ago. That has to be an amazing feeling, having an amazing bond with the stork herself and to know your actions helped the population so nicely! Good job man!!! You are awesome, keep taking care of that lady bird.
In my country storks are the national bird so whenever the first stork is spotted in springtime it's in the news. I guess there's just something about storks.
The most beautiful rescue story I've ever heard! Because this man cared for the stork, she was able to have a mate and even offspring! At the posting of this video, almost 60 chicks have been raised to maturity by this pair! This story made me cry happy tears. Bless those that care about the creatures that share the planet with us, that give their lives to helping them.💕🤗
Beautiful story about this two storks and the love for each other. And thank you for bringing awareness to the poaching and hunting. I pray for his safe return to his lovely wife. May God bless you for loving & caring for them. 💕
Malena &. 🐦 HUGO❤️
That is knowing how to share our passage through the earth with our fellow travelers, we are not their owners or their masters, they are to complement our joy and our life and it is our obligation to take care of our little brothers
What a beautiful story this is. I hope the Papa bird makes it back every year to be with his Honey and make more little baby birds. Such a nice man to do this. God bless him and his family of Storks.
Omg this was amazing..such a sweet person. Why can't we have more humans like this. He treats that gorgeous girl better than some people treat their kids.
What a lovely story. I know that in Europe storks that are good luck and their nests are built in houses, churches etc. They can live for a very long time. The longest recorded is 39 years and it was an adult before it was banded. They are wonderful birds.
Angels do walk among us & this man is one of them. To dedicate your life to caring for a creature most people overlook makes you a certain kind of special and wonderful.
The poching occurs in Middle East, it's mostly popular in Libya and other neighbouring countries. Also in Malta people like shoothing birds. And in Libya they do it just for sport, which makes it even more horrible.
WSPANIALY DOBRY UMYSL ,KTORY CZYNI DOBRO .....TA WZRUSZAJACA HISTORIA WYCISNELA MI LZY Z MOICH OCZU .....NIECH SIE LUDZIE UCZA SZANOWAC NATURE ,BO JESTESMY JEJ CZESCIA ..
Tbh it’s really cool that they’ve raise 59 storks from that nest. Just imagine. For many of the ones killed, they are bringing new life into the world. Hopefully to keep their numbers steady. So beautiful
These beautiful birds are the birds off my child hood at my Grand parents house in Jutland, Denmark. As a little girl on summer vacations, I would sit on the door stoop of the kitchen across from our stable, waiting for our Stork familys return to Denmark They knew us, me, and I would throw out cut up bread on the cobblestones. They would fly down close up, talking , feeding . On their beautiful Red Legs. How I loved these Grand, Noble birds.🇩🇰🇺🇸💜
I've seen so many stories on this channel but this one is truly incredible. The man's dedication to the stork and the passion that he shares for his mission is inspiring. Klepetan's return to his nest is so heartwarming to watch.
