Awesome !! Said so many times they should announce England as a painters paradise and preserve everything!! Give every pleinair painter free accommodation and allowance to paint where ever they want. It's sooooo pictures perfect soo picturesque, ... just stunning.
Wonderful Moggy's and Lidos does it get any better. Loved the Lido information hadn't realised we still had so many the 3, I used in Norfolk when I was younger have all gone. Excellent video many thanks and will watch more Johnny 👍
Thanks! I need to get back out in the Morris minor and back into swimming soon. Haven’t done any videos for a while but got some ideas for future (maybe adventure into the London ULEZ zone).
Hi 👋 I'm viewing from New Zealand. Back in the early 1970s my mother had a friend who owned a convertible Morris Minor. It was white with a red soft top. I think it was a late 1960s model. I thought it funny. She sometimes would grate the gears.
Hi! Great to have international viewers 😀. Mine is 1968. I also sometimes grate the gears due to there no synchromesh on 1st and also sometimes forget there isn’t a 5th gear!
@@timsbobs7774 The Morris Minor is a comical car. You British call them Moggies. Her Morris had indicators on the side. When indicating they would come out . I remember sitting in the back of it when I was young and my mothers friend took my mother shopping in it. I sat in the back. This was when I was 11 years old. I was trying not to laugh. She kept grating the gears and we were kangaroo hopping down the road. She wasn't a terribly good driver, and I remember she went up on kerbs driving around corners. Lol !
@@timsbobs7774 The Morris Minor was a good car. They were in production for many years. From the late 1940s to the early 1970s i think. Correct me if I'm wrong. We assembled them here in NZ. They sold well too. The 4 door and 2 door models and the traveller , and the commercial vans i remember in the 1960s. Very popular car, economical and reliable.
Delightful video. With the aid of Googlemaps I am pretty much able to follow your journey. Good to see the Saabs. Do you know what the green car at 4:12 was? Congratulate your Minor on the overtaking. Reminded me of my Honda getting a real speeding ticket. Little miracles.
Ah yes I see now. I think a Morgan came past the other way just outside Brinklow so thought it was the same one. There were actually lots of classics out on the Fosse Way that day.
