Amine No studying is needed, it's known how albinism and piebald occur. I doubt there's a method of observing the animal while simultaneously giving it the best life. I believe their best life is in the wild until their death.
its a genetic defect, it makes it a prime target for predators. we have many white deer in Tennessee because they have been reproducing the particular genes due to lack of hunting. they rarely last beyond 3 years where any natural predators still have a population

Actually it is a bit different. The White Moose is due to a normally recessive gene that has become active, while Albino Moose is due to the gene that makes melanin not working as it should. One easy way to tell is to look at their eyes. Dark eyes = White Moose Red eyes = Albino Moose Another difference is that the White Moose gene can be passed on, while albinism is only in that individual.
Barbara Vick Yeah, I was looking for red eyes also. Didn't see them, but maybe not close enough. Looked like dark eyes to me, if so, then it is not an albino.
No. Albino animals and humans are called albinos. The rest of them are called white. Some of them are supposed to be white all the time and some of them are white in winter time and some of them - like this moose get the recessive gene that makes them white all the time even though they normally aren't white at all.
That was amazing He must have been in total Awww seeing that Moose. Even the horns were white, so Beautiful n Angel like! Why can't hunters shoot these animals with camera's instead of guns...so much more rewarding... Thxx for that wonderful footage, n Sweden is so beautiful, how I would love to go there.
Wow, I've heard of a spirit bison that's considered lucky. My Grandmother even painted a white buffalo in snow on leather. It was a beautiful painting. One that I wanted but didn't get to have. I was tempted to donate it to the native Americans that just had a white bison calf born. But I've never seen or heard of a whit moose. It's wonderful that most hunters respect the tradition of not hunting this special animal.
@@davidv.3856 Sweden has a population of white moose in Värmland county that is due to leucism and the moose in this clip is definately one of those, not an albino. The commentator of this clip was mistaken when he said albino. Värmland is the only geographical area in the world with such any such population density of white leucism moose, so most people that aren't aware of that usually automatically assume it's an albino creature:)
I saw a piebald pigeon once. I thought it was a magpie but the markings weren't right and the tail was not long enough. I'll never forget that expirience.
In the state of Wisconsin, USA, there are very specific rules spelled out on shooting leucistic (white) whitetail deer. Patches of brown - it is legal.
@Did You Know Animals ? Please ban IQ Games, he keeps spamming on people's comments asking them too sub to him, all I can do is remove the comments its getting very annoying By the way nice video! =)
@nelson. you did thats cool! i seen a albino robin,,took me a minute to figure it out i didnt know what was going on at first,, it is the most awesome thing that robin! you cant imagine.. i cant imagine a white crow wow..
Machine Gun Nest The reason I know it was a crow is that it was with a dozen or so other crows. What was really cool was the white crow had a small group of 3 pure black feathers on his shoulder part of the wing that looked like slash marks. I also saw Johnny Winter in concert twice.
It is simply a white moose (actually called a PIEBALD- because it does have BROWN HAIR inside it's ears as well as on lower legs) a true ALBINO - will have a PINK nose eyes & hoves / never the less AWESOME SITE one of GODS great creations & wonderments.
From what I can see of the eyes, this not albino..albinos have reddish pink eyes...but it is still a beautiful animal...if I was out in the woods and saw that,I would stare in awe and give great reverence to the animal :)
I have had friends with albino Rottweiler. And another friend with an albino Queensland Heeler. Imagine it a solid white Rottweiler he was a 90 pound Lap dog he was the melloest Critter on Earth
They always have God as this old guy with a white beard, I know he's been around awhile but for Gods sake he's God, I mean if I was God I would make myself look like a GQ model and I wouldn't care if I was a trillion years old I'd make myself stay that way. I would give myself a couple of creases on my face just to give me a little bit of a Clint Eastwood look, that would be cool.
Tom, if you were god, who would you need to impress with the great looks and physique of a model? God could make himself look like a warthog and still feel like the most perfect being in the universe. Perfect looks would get boring. (This is of course assuming there is a god, which there isn't.)
wow how xciting and such a special creaturw to behold esp. up close although I heard they are skittish and occasionally will charge because are not the most domestic animal and tend to be alone most often.
There are stories on just about every country of their great white beast. Many of them hve to do with extreme reverence. A white elephant will bring an entire village to iz knees in prayer, and good fortune prevails. As lucky as most are fabled (?), they also hve to do with the end of the world or something earth changing. The video of this beautiful beast hz gone viral. I wonder if it portends - anything?
@Did You Know Animals ? This is not an "Albino" moose, albinism is a genetic mutation that come's with pinkish skin and eyes. This is from some sort of recessive gene. Do some research, buddy. It literally took me 25 seconds to google that.
