This policeman, who took her to the hotel, is a great guy. He explained her the mechanics of domestic violence and opened her eyes. Her spontaneous hug was a proof that she did understand. Great, humane, police work.

She hesitated briefly when the officer asked her if this was the first time he had been abusive. That speaks volumes.

Her telling the other passengers that if she moved her seat, it was going to make things worse tells me this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. She needs to leave! She doesn’t want her son grows up to become an abusive alcoholic but sadly I don’t think she will leave. He remembers every damn second of that flight and everything he put her through. That’s a classic case of controlling through intimidation and she’s scared to leave him. This an example of a great cop. He is giving advice and support, professionally and genuinely. He is not judgmental or condescending, he is genuinely trying to let this lady know that this is the first step in the cycle of abuse. It seems small now until he IS beating you and injuring you. I hope she takes his advice. She looks to be far too young to let that senior citizen treat her like that.

I love this Police Officer, good guy vibes, intelligent, to the point but with kindness.

What I noticed is the fact that three different couples, who probably just want to get through customs and get on their way, felt strongly enough about what they witnessed to willingly remain with the officer to be questioned. It’s what would be categorized as “reasonable third party” in terms of witnessing something. They have no ulterior motives, whereas the girlfriend may be an abuse victim who is unwilling to speak up.

This woman needs to spend time not in a relationship and work on loving herself.

The verbal abuse the witnesses heard tells the entire story. He called her a POS, bitch and the “C word” He’s done this so many times, he was comfortable talking to her like that in front of ppl. Imagine what she goes through at home.

Fact: my niece’s husband was abusive, police called, arrested him, took him to jail, let him out after a few hours, he went home to my niece and two children, he soon after killed my niece and himself before sunrise. Children had nowhere to go for a time. Get help!! Don’t wait another day!! Get out!!

My son’s father abused me for months! It started with shouting while I was pregnant. Then he shoved me for the first time when I was 2 weeks postpartum (I had a C-section). Then he stole and destroyed my property, he hit me in the face and when he put me in a chokehold, that’s when I finally had the courage to go to the police. I have a permanent restraining order, full custody of my son and the best advice I can give is to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! Don’t wait till you get your airway cut off!

A boyfriend grabbed my arm once in public and wouldn’t let me go. He was angry because I wanted to leave the date. I eventually broken away (because a man intervened). I called the cops and waited for a ride to pick me up. I never dated him again.

Props to the officer.. Ma’am if u ever see this please get out. I was there. Not on a plane but it got to where it was everyday. The controlling, mental abuse & physical abuse. He paid people at my school to watch me. This was someone i knew since we were little kids. I finallly got the nerve and strength to leave. He stalked me for 7 months. He started dating someone else and still stalked me. I seen her one day at a store with 2 black eyes and i couldn’t just pass her. I told her all i went through and she said she knows. He calls her by my name and she couldn’t say anything. Even when they were in bed she had to lay there and take him calling her my name. She tried to get mad in the beginning but she didn’t want to get hit anymore. I asked her why does she stay and she said she loved him and has noone. Her daughter’s now visit her at the cemetery and take her grandchildren there too. If there are so many random people seeing what you’re denying then there’s a problem. Please get out. They will promise and beg but it won’t change. Great job officer 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
