it's not necessarily racist. It might just be an extra detail so the wife can have SOMETHING to work with. If he had a white "friend" he was talking to all the time the wife would be able to narrow it down to who it might be. It's not racist to acknowledge that races exists.

She didn’t do the right thing, because that was not her call to make. I’m not justifying the cheating man at all, but that was not her place to say anything and she doesn’t even know them. She could’ve caused a huge drama scene in public, she stuck her nose in someone else’s business, that’s not right.
I’m a marriage counselor, and I’ve met this lovely couple that I thought had everything together. Both of them were gay/lesbian and had their own relationships with other people even though they were married. They were married because in the area I live it it is very abnormal to be homosexual,and aren’t really that accepting and often people that are part of the LGBTQIA+ are often shamed upon sometimes even in public. So they got married together but had their own secret relationships with other people, so they basically lived like roommates. But they also had two children because they really just don’t want to be caught.
Why the councelling? they needed advice on how to hide better? how to keep the same sex partners in the loop? How to pretend to their children the "aunts" and "uncles" they may have seen or heard on the phone are secret friends and that's somehow normal? Or something like "she never takes the trash out so I feel she doesn;t care about me. I mean the marriage is fake, but stil I need respect" I have like a ton of other questions and I'm not sure who to blame more.
Umm, I’m not sure why they need counseling. Families come in different types. If they are gay, then they are gay. Are the kids healthy, clean, and happy? Or are the couple in denial?

Thats not a gay person fault. We live in a heteronormative society.
