As a retail worker who has to bring carts in from the outside, I can't say how often people leave their carts out because they are lazy. I'm so glad there is a channel like this spreading awareness and making people do the right thing. Once in a blue moon I'll have people that would bring extra carts back with them, and clean up after people, which I really appreciate.

As someone who’s been working in retail and working around carts at our store, I can say he’s doing great at spreading the message

It's already bad enough that people don't put their carts back. But it's worse when they threaten you and embarrass you over a simple situation that could easily be solved. Sebastian is not doing anything wrong and he's putting himself on the line to expose people'e ego and how insecure they are to reveal what they did that was wrong. It's crazy how people would rather yell at someone, threaten them, and call them names for 10 minutes causing a huge scene for everyone to see, rather than doing the right thing that is a lot easier and just putting your cart back. It's such a simple solution to a problem that everyone makes so much harder to do.

I personally think that if your goal is to get people to return their carts, this isnt the way to go about it. Putting a sticker on someones car will make someone actively not want to listen to you. You should try to actually convince them instead of just trying to piss them off when you know that isnt gonna get them to ablige

On both ends it seems ridiculous. Dude is being an annoying Boy Scout and the person that’s not putting the cart back is getting angry over something that can be easily avoided.

i work at a local grocery store, this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I have to walk all around the parking lot looking for carts that are on the curbs and in-between cars. it would be a lot faster if everyone puts their carts in the cart return areas, but what u gonna do. There are a lot of people that do put their carts back and even take multiple, and im thankful for them

I do appreciate this guy but I hope he takes precautions to stay safe. As a young woman who has worked in a smaller retail store people would just leave their carts all over the parking lot leaving me to go get them at the end of the night where there are no lights in the lot. There were times where I had creepy guys following me as I was collecting carts. Not only this, but carts cause damage to vehicles and take up parking spots as you guys said. People who just leave their carts wherever are very ignorant to how that can impact someone else's experience.

Okay but hear me out tho The Cart Narc does not work for these stores nor does he get paid by them to “influence” people to put cart away. What I can’t get behind is the fact that he made this his personal mission to get people to put their carts back. The world will not become a utopia because everyone decided to not be a “lazy bones”. There’s bigger issues in the world than this. I understand that as a common courtesy you should put your cart away but it’s also a common courtesy to hold doors and give up your seat to women and the elderly, are we going to have Seat Narcs on the public transit now?

I will always put my cart back one night I went to Albertsons at night got some stuff left and then returned my cart then this nice special ed student that was working there was so happy I did he gave me a hug its a moment I will never forget.

idec that this video is 6 months old, i have medical issues, I walk with a cane, i will still always walk my cart back. doctors suggest that you do things like that when disabled because you don't move around as much as normal people do. so it's good to do the small things like that if you can walk at all. to have your body feel some sort of normalcy. people are truly lazy and i think not bringing your cart back is just the start of being morally decent. so people who can't do it unless they're in a wheelchair, I question there character

To be fair, they could be having a very BAD day and were already beyond angry because something may have happened that day. So, he is lucky he didn't get hurt or something with some of those people because I could imagine one singular person being over the edge and decides take it all out on him.

It was out of pocket for the guy to say she doesn’t have a real disability. There’s a term called “invisible disability” meaning they may look fine on the outside but still have there own problems just like any person who’s disabled.

Yes you should put your carts back but I was reading a forum on safety advice for women and there apparently was multiple instances of women (especially with children in their car) being attacked/harassed and threatened when walking to put carts back especially when the distance to put it back is quite long. And how predators actively seek out women in these types of vulnerable situation. Also it endangers the children in the car left unsupervised.

It’s fine in my opinion to ask people to put their carts in the right spot.But once they have given you an answer then you leave them alone regardless of the answer and not escalate it farther by putting thing on their cars.

In Portugal for you to get a cart, you have to put in a 1/0.50 € coin in it, and to get it back you just have to return it, there are never lose carts

It's really interesting to me that this problem even exists. In Poland I've seen only few people didn't put their cart back.

In the uk and Europe trolleys have a coin slot so you have to put a coin in to get a trolley and once you put it back it releases your coin
