A personal rule for me is you should only trust someone who rates themselves a 4-7. 8-9 likely have ego problems. 2-3 are underconfident. 1s are likely miserable all the time and 10s think they're perfect and always right. Someone who rates themselves 4-7 is *probably* more self-aware and humble/modest.
