Started off really rough, and I was like “I’m not going to like this. Then as it progressed, I was thinking “Wow, this is really good”. Then when you guys harmonized at the end, it was a “Damn, you fucking nailed it!”. I’m sure you would make Layne proud. As a huge AIC fan, I give you a thumbs up!!!
naw.. it stayed rough.. Your comment made me stay longer than I should have. A singer in the group might have carried a vibe reliant on nostalgia for the actual song. This would never be listened to if you didn't know what you were listening for
It's hard way to find this method for singing Staley. That fella was absolutly unique. He created something like gentle, unvisible bridge between reflexive mood and drama. And, in the same time reach that typical for him, quite unleashed anxiety that ran from his heart. For you guys special grats, respect and thanks forr this aqoustic cover. Thanks a lot and keep your passion on and carry on for next generations.
Ohh man, this is the first time I heard and watched this video and I have no words to describe what I felt, but the only thing I can say or write is that make more songs like this
This is phenomenal! All of you guys captured the essence of this song perfectly. Great job! Makes me wish that they did this song Unplugged. Very impressed with the harmonizing voices as well.
No. Layne voice is not the same anymore since he got hooked on heroine. That's why they didn't play a single song from the album "Facelift" more on sap and The last album of layne "Alice In Chains".
This is one song that doesn't translate to acoustic but yall guys vocals together sounded great but on another note you made it your on by doing it acoustically...Rock on brothers...
[Verse 1: Layne Staley] I'm the man in the box Buried in my shit [Pre-Chorus: Layne Staley] Won't you come and save me? Save me [Chorus: Layne Staley & Jerry Cantrell] Feed my eyes (Can you sew them shut?) Jesus Christ (Deny your maker) He who tries (Will be wasted) Feed my eyes (Now you've sewn them) shut [Verse 2: Layne Staley] I'm the dog who gets beat Shove my nose in shit [Pre-Chorus: Layne Staley] Won't you come and save me? Save me [Chorus: Layne Staley & Jerry Cantrell] Feed my eyes (Can you sew them shut?) Jesus Christ (Deny your maker) He who tries (Will be wasted) Feed my eyes (Now you've sewn them) shut [Guitar Solo: Jerry Cantrell] [Chorus: Layne Staley & Jerry Cantrell] Feed my eyes (Can you sew them shut?) Jesus Christ (Deny your maker) He who tries (Will be wasted) Feed my eyes (Now you've sewn them) shut
I swear my dude on the left is either really high or just has a funny concentration face. Mouth goes a bit off and back again, gives off the looks like I do when I'm trying to play whilst on Lucy or a little ketty
