Derek Wilburn of Long Beach, California, is a collector of many things and of Morgan history-his house and garage hold enough intriguing items to be a vintage shopper's paradise, filled with antiques, bicycles, and the like, but in the Morgans are where Derek's greatest passions lie. Building and restoring the automobiles has been a family affair since he was a small boy. There is an understated joy Derek has when he talks about Morgans, and we hope this video lets you feel some of that joy.

What a great video! The restorer's smile and tone show his pleasure in what he does with these cars.

Derek has the smile of a man content to be doing the things he loves, a rare thing these days. I have an old Gitane Competition, top of the line back in 1962. It could be for sale. . .. Very original and in good condition.

Simply one of the most unique cars on the road. I own a 66' 4/4 and enjoy the uniqueness of the car in every possible way. Morgan owners are individuals all with an original personality. Thanks for your passion Derek! #morganadventures

this reminds me of the step-grandfather. When I first met him, he had an XJ8 and a green Morgan 4/4. I had never seen anything like it before. A few years later he ordered a brand new silver Aero. The craftsmanship always amazed me, It seemed like it was moving even when standing still. The Aero with the BMW V8 and the 6-speed was a lot of fun to drive. Everyone stops to look at it, and they all have to ask what kind of car it is. These are true craftsman cars.

Excellent production value- great music -portrait of a man who loves what he does- so nice- my friend had one in the mid 60's- 4/4- used to hijack it -drive to the shore - could see the road under the floor boards- my Dad had one too but he wouldn't let me near it-

Very interesting EDIT ! It's more like an appetizer, than an ample snack ( which is the norm )......very interesting...got the flavor of the Morgan in it's entirety, nestled in between the layers. Which over all "seemed very brief" ! Interesting "EDIT" efficient ,, like the 3 wheeler, itself. "Interesting EDIT !"

Exactly my taste in bikes too.. Proper ally/steel wheels..shiny spokes, lugs on the frame rather than through the frame. Even the old toe clips instead of clip-ons. I bought a carbon Fibre Bianchi last year..and it's lovely, but I still prefer the older bikes. It's an age thing I guess, watching The Tour with Hinault, LeMond, Miller etc.. There's a Morgan specialist just a few miles from me.. I always give the place a glance as I drive by, see what's on there..

OMG the vibration in that 3-wheel. I wonder if holding that steering is like holding a weed trimmer .

You guys need to start stating the names of the songs you use in these videos because many of them are quite good!

This guy is my kind of guy. As far as Morgans go. The engineering is from the 30's and never improved much over the years. Of course their new models are improved. Too bad. I love minimalistic cars, and even my caterham seven had more improvements especially to the suspension

Great videos, but the cars sound rickety as shit. The way the guy discribes them as not really fitting, the body and frame flexing, doors opening because fo that- Sounds awfully built.

The word 'actually' ... possibly the most un-needed word of this decade ! Whats the difference if you actually own such and such a car,or own such and such a car..... For me, I hear that line and I immediately discount the conversation as going no where. Is it me or is this experienced by others... Or is it actually not actually an issue ?
