Here's some flavor text I made if this was a fight. *Somethings wrong. *There's a man here. *Smells like uneasiness. *The tree rustles in the wind. *There is no wind. *Sunny side up. *Behind the tree. *It's not easter. *Smells like scrambled eggs. *The air crackles with anxiety.
if attacked: nothing will happen. not even any damage done or even a hit sound, nothing. Acts Yes "Acept." adds egg to inventory. *Not too unimportant, not too important No "Deny" ends fight and kicks you out of the room. this option disappears if you have accepted. *Well, there is not a man here. Talk "Talk to him" does nothing *You chat with the man. *Words don't form. Run (no description) Progresses the Battle if you have the egg (no egg) *You cannot. (egg) *An attempt was made, oh well.
I just can’t with this. The thought that this might be Gaster just being like “Want an egg dude?” And what’s even funnier is when the man waves to you in a car. Gaster would drive a cybertruck. Just gives me those vibes
like distorted music that played in the upper light world. The first second reminded me first of the music from the bright world, and then all the notes further became completely different
It's actually a fanmade song made by Toby Fox that was originally for Yume Nikki. The song in question was originally called 'Waltz of Seccom Masada'. This wouldn't be the first time he would do something like this in UT/DR. As for if it currently shares any leitmotifs with other UT/DR songs, I do not think so. Although, this will more than likely change in the future.
Im pretty sure its gaster. Here's why He gives you an egg Egg in wingdings is Left Up Up Left Up Up is the movement Pattern in chess for a Knight *The Roaring Knight* Also people also refer to Gaster as man River person: Tra la la, Beware of the *man* who speaks in hands It could be everyman, as everyman appears frequently in deltarune But i prefer to think of it as gaster
yknow; the idea that it is everyman is a lot more convincing to me now after ive thought about it everyman likes to show up every now and then; theyre not too important; not too unimportant; theyre mysterious; and i find it a lot more believable for everyman to be in the traffic jam car than it randomly being gaster or an out of nowhere reference to a mystery - everyman loves appearing randomly
Why The Heck Does This Have Over 1000 Views? I Mean I Literally Just Edited A Gif Of A Tree From DELTARUNE, Over An ogg file I Found In The Game's Files.
random theory: If his full name is W. D. Gaster, does that imply that Gaster is actually his last name? And if so, are Papyrus and Sans' last names also Gaster (since "W. D." stands for "Wingdings")??
@@somerandomperson461 yeah I just wasn’t sure how to describe it, I usually associate bass with percussion to some degree / am not amazing at music theory
@@Amalgam8ion I kind of see what you mean. Because the first few notes do actually sound similar to Gaster's theme. And also the bass I suppose is kind of like Gaster's theme's bass but with two notes taken out and put at a different octave. And also the song does the same sort of thing as Gaster's, theme where it just moves the notes down by a note or two to create a second part of the song.
@@gabrote42 I couldn't remember what dialogue you get if you check behind the tree where the man was again, or even if there was dialogue for checking behind the tree again.
Apparently Toby originally composed the song as a fan song for Yume Nikki titled "Waltz of Seccom Masada" Seccom Masada notably also kinda resembles the Mystery Man sprite in Undertale and the fact that the song actually has Gaster's leitmotif in it probably means Mystery Man is Gaster and Gaster was literally designed purely as a Yume Nikki reference to both Uboa and Seccom Masada
@@TeamGalactic-Cyrus the song was composed sometime before april 2012 as a yume nikki fan song, with no connection to undertale or deltarune, since, y'know, they didn't exist
