Arthur Scott Jr., the suspect facing charges of kidnapping, rape, and murder in a homicide case from Friday, was arraigned in court on Monday morning and his bond was set.
Columbus police were called to a hotel on the 6000 block of Zumstein Drive just before 10:30 p.m. on Friday on a report of a person found dead.
Authorities arrived to find 61-year-old Li-Chu Lin suffering from trauma from what authorities described as a 'brutal attack.' Lin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Over the weekend, authorities identified Scott as a suspect and arrested him on charges of murder, rape, and kidnapping in the case.
