my boy Grubb worm w tht lt1 motor is killing it , was getn it on those 1320 videos, breaking stick shift records, took out my boy LeRoy also...lol...love this class tho!
@@-g-lock813 yeeeh, it is a funny and crazy looking thing. but if I remember correctly garret isn't interested in making it faster right now. and its like a whole second slower... :
Great to see these cars out there banging gears!! These cars are no joke. Since it is not far from where I live, I may be going out to the next race. Just have to find out where it is advertised!! Keep up the good work and great posts!
Them boys that built & race Grubb Worm have that car figured out & dialed in like no one else out there. And from the looks of it, they're gonna be hard to beat for quite some time.
The competitive cars are usually running Faceplated T-56s with upgraded gearsets and no more synchros....paired usually with either a double/triple disc regular clutch, or cars like the grub worm uses a slipper style clutch and a faceplated T56 with 5th and 6th blocked off as he runs out the quarter mile in 4th.
@@-g-lock813 wouldn't have made a difference most likely. The worm could give him 1 and 1 with the hit in the 1/4 and it still wouldn't be enough. Not to mention there's a few cars that have been a few tenths faster than Leroy since last year.
@@ronbell3358 @Ron Bell you really wrote a whole essay defending the "street cars", who cares if it is streetable, the fast guys are worrying about going fast, not passing inspection. Rowing is rowing gotta pay to play.
