We're in Germany to get a pre press conference before the big Busworld that's coming up in October. We are getting a tour on their new battery factory, and we get to see and test drive the whole product portfolio that will be shown on Busworld.

Velkommen til pressekonferanse med MAN før Busworld 2023.
MAN inviterte pressen til Tyskland i september for å ta en nærmere titt på produktene de skal stille ut på messen. Pressen ble samlet på MAN sin helt nye batterifabrikk i Nürnberg. Her fikk vi prøve, ta og kjenne på alle produktene som blir utstilt på messen, og vi fikk se MAN sitt helt nye dashbord som skal prege turbussene deres i tiden fremover.

Our company has primarily MAN and Neoplan buses. We often run into issues with certain features, like the doors not functioning as they should. But although many complain, I experience them to be reliable and especially the MAN Tipmatic in combination with the retarder are features I like. I prefer the 6 step retarder which is different from other brands. Seeing this Neoplan bus is amazing. The buttons to open the doors and luggage compartment are so intuitively placed on the dashboard. The mirror cam in combination with the 360 degree MAN birdview camera on top of the other safety systems looks like a dream to drive. I hope to be able to drive this some day soon. This really is the time to be excited to be a bus driver. Cheers Bussmagasinet

These Lion City 14m is very beautiful. My dream is MAN of Brazil made this bus here

Oh yes i saw this on facebook earlier today Also the tourliner's indicators are loud! The MAN buses that i rode were softer - more of nice clicks which are pleasant. Maybe it's a feature, though definitely for passenger comfort I think it can be softer, especially in a nice quiet ambience with the engine sound. Hopefully Florian and team could tweak that just a little.

This is also a prototype. Let’s hope that minor problems will be fixed for the future production of the coaches
