MAN - Rare 1970 German Documentary 

Ich habe die Band in den 80er - 90er Jahren oft live gesehen. Sie waren noch viel unterwegs und es war immer ein Genuss.

Never ever thought I would see/ hear 'Prelude and the Storm' played live on film. Thanks for posting. Brilliant. My only hope is one day someone will discover complete footage of Man performing' Spunk Rock' ar the Greasy Truckers gig. That would be more than incredible.

Fantastic clip! I would be 13 in 1970 and just starting listen to them. Love this band, so many great memories.

Glorious stuff. THE three bands never to miss in the early 70s were Man, Wishbone Ash and Hawkwind. Guaranteed keep a smile on your face and partial deafness for days - great times. The tune at 2:30 is one of middle sections of Spunk Rock as excelled on the Greasy Truckers album. Practically wore my copy out

thanks for the doc. I've got 2 Man Band live concerts from 1976 in San Francisco broadcast on KSAN-FM I plan to post up in the next few days.Was just talking to a friend about my live recordings and they came up.A great band that didn't get the notoriety they deserved.

Omstreeks juni 1970 heeft deze popgroep in Holland , Brielle de Zuid-Hollandse Eilanden op een zaterdag avond gespeeld in een oude sloepenloods. De organisatie was in handen van High and Dry.

Ich habe noch nicht so viel von ihnen erfahren wie jetzt gerade eben. Ich habe sie ein paar Mal in Deutschland gesehen, kenne ein paar ihrer Alben, kannte ihre Managerin in Deutschland in den 90ern. Ich habe die Konzerte als wunderbares Erlebnis erfahren. Ich bin überrascht, was ich noch erfahren kann über diese Band. :-)

klasse, fantastisches Zeitdokument. Ich lebe schon fast 60 Jahre in der Nähe von Heidelberg. Damals (1970) war ich (leider) erst 8 Jahre alt. Gibt es Leute, die damals bei diesem denkwürdigen Auftritt in Heidelberg dabei waren ? Teilt doch bitte euere Erinnerungen !! Weiss jemand , wo die da ihren LKW abgestellt hatten für das Konzert ? Ich habe zwar eine Vermutung, bin aber nicht sicher. Weiss jemand wo das genau ist in Heidelberg? great, fantastic document of the times. I have been living near Heidelberg for almost 60 years. At that time (1970) I was (unfortunately) only 8 years old. Are there people who took part in this memorable performance in Heidelberg at that time? Please share your memories !! Does anyone know where they parked their truck for the concert ? I have a guess, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know where that is exactly in Heidelberg?

Great band, though the interview at the start sound a bit 'Spinal Tap'.

Wow....interesting to see such early footage of one of my favourite bands.....Who was the moaning bloke at the start though ? Not to mention the German monologue during the second half of this "Rare Documentary"....🖐🙄
